Worth a visit, some info on history of New Orleans and the view is good but not spectacular. There is a game where you have steer the ship into dock which is fun for adults and kids, and there is a cafe up there. VUE is something to put on your list but not a must do experience.

This is an extraordinary interactive and engaging look at the story of New Orleans its people and its makeup. Near the river it is part of the Four Seasons Hotel although it has its own entrance. Immediately you are immersed in an audio active experience with figures from the city's past. The creators have used all the digital tricks to engage the visitor in the story and its human face. The icing on this historical cake is the extraordinary panorama from the 32nd floor as you take the lift with some amazing visuals as you shoot up to the roof. A 360 degree panorama gives you the best view of the city and its surrounds - a real delight!

We went here on our one day off from the World War II Museum. We had come to New Orleans primarily to see the WWII Museum but we took one day off to see the sights. This one looked like a good bet because it took you to the top of a building where you could see for miles up and down the Mississippi River. The “experience” was peppered with historical information about New Orleans and was quite good overall. The views from the top of the building didn’t disappoint either. We wound up eating our lunch at the little cafe at the top of the building too. We enjoyed the experience.

The entrance is located next to the Four Seasons and is a MUST SEE! It should be your first stop before ALL other attractions! It’s hard to describe the wonders of this place except to say that it is made up of multiple interactive exhibits that give you an overview of the history of New Orleans (the music, the food, the architecture, voodoo, the melting pot of cultures, which indigenous tribes were here first, and how it got its name) as well as having a 360° view of New Orleans with screens that point out all of the sights and neighborhoods you might want to visit. The elevator ride is interactive! Even the floor is inlaid with the path of the Mississippi River. The attention to detail is amazing and cannot possibly be put into words. Lots to see and do for adults and kids. Make sure to watch the movie downstairs and the 2 mini movies up on the 33rd floor. And go up to the 34th floor for the open air views! The gift shop gals gave us a fabulous suggestion on where to have dinner that night! (Tujague’s - pronounced Two Jacks - delish) ALL of the staff are attentive and kind. This will set the tone for your entire trip. I promise!
