"Lack of Service and cleanliness"

Currently staying at this hotel, one night down and 3 remaining. From arriving yesterday and checking in my room with ripped sheets and finding hair underneath the sheets it hasn't been a pleasant experience. Housekeeping delivered new sheets for me to change the bed myself. I requested a new room after waiting nearly 2.5 hours to correct what I considered a reasonable request. Why put ripped sheets on a bed, unsure. Housekeeping stopped by this morning to address my room and I asked her to return in 30-35 minutes for which she acknowledged on the other side of the door, okay, only for me to return around 8;40 pm this evening and the room hasn't been serviced . The hotel attendant downstairs with the locs and eyeglasses has been by far the most pleasant. I have addressed everyone professionally and exercised patience although I was inconvenienced for 2.5 hours. I am beyond disappointed in the service of this establishment. I wish I could cancel and change my upcoming reservation for this hotel again for a business trip.

This is the first year in all years I have come to NOLA for a literacy conference where checkout was seamless for organizing my big group. This was only possible because of the help from Anderson Solis at the front desk. He made it so easy and stress free for me to organize all the rooms and settle any fees. I would come back again just because of his hospitality!!

Shawntell was very professional and was always making sure we was comfortable and nice courteous, emerson was very respectful and helpful, raynard made sure the bags got upstairs due to me having back surgery 2 weeks prior , and the toilets was stopped up and Gerard brought a plunger and spend about 15 minutes even though he was on his break and made sure everything was all well :) . I really will be back very soon and definitely looking forward to they service and Kindness again .

I gave my credit card details as a security. I spent $98 during my 5 day visit, however my credit was debited to the sum of $602.65.and despite visiting the hotel and being assured this would be refunded, 12 days later this has not occurred. It appears that this is not an isolated incident but deliberate hotel policy which is fraudulent It is extremely difficult to contact the hotel and as a foreign tourist because of roaming charges contacting the hotel by phone is not an option. I have not experienced this issue at any of the several other hotels I have stayed at during my holiday, who have instantly refunded any unused credit in our departure I would advise anyone thinking of staying here to book elsewhere. It creates a very poor impression of US honesty

Staff at the hotel are cordial and respectful. Brandon helped us at the bar. He was friendly and conversational while taking care of several people at once. I would definitely recommend family and friends to stay at this property based on the way Brandon and every other staff person I dealt with treated me.
