Went up to NYC for a quick corporate retreat and the afternoon activity was The Beast. I didn’t really know what I was in for but survived long enough to recommend it. The Beast zips you out to Ellis Island, stops to let you grab a handful of photos, and then zips back. Along the way, you get a speedboat view of the NYC and Jersey City skylines and you probably get a bit wet. On really hot days you’ll definitely get wet as the staff sprays folks with water guns. Don’t worry, it’s all in good fun. The entire experience is 30-45 minutes. It is not a tour nor does it go into depth as to what you’re seeing. It is fun and a unique approach to sightseeing.

This was an amazing experience. On boarding the boat the lad was full of fun, he checked we were all safe and we were off. The boat ride was fun and we were able to take photos of the Statue of Liberty. If you don’t get wet off the spray of the water you will from the soaker gun when the worker runs up and down the boat. This was all part of the fun and my teens loved it. This is a must do in New York and safe.
