Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel features a private sandy beach and a pool with Gulf of Mexico views. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant or grab a handmade cocktail at the poolside bar. A free shuttle to Key West city center is provided. All accommodations at the Key West Beachside include a refrigerator, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks. Select rooms feature upgraded amenities such as a full kitchen, balcony, and spa bath. A living area and dining area are also offered in select rooms.

Guests may work out at the water view fitness center or soak in the outdoor hot tub. Nearby activities include the Key West Golf Club, biking and jogging trails, and several water sports. "I wouldn’t stay again"

I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. The pictures looked really nice and we were looking forward to having a little extra room as there were 3 of us. It was a huge plus to having a washer/dryer and an extra bathroom. Unfortunately, there really isn’t a beach that you would want to swim in here. There isn’t any information readily available to guests. The only staff member offering any kind of information was John, our shuttle driver. John is a great people person. The owner should make him a manager, because right now, there isn’t anyone really running this place.

"Poorly Maintained Hotel"

Worst experience at this hotel. Will not come back again and recommend . We planned a family reunion and my daughter's birthday and booked a Presidential 3 bedroom apartment with sea view so that entire family can stay and spend time together. . We had planned some surprise midnight celebration as it was my daughters birthday. On the day of checkin , we received a sms confirming our room number 535 (which is 3BR with sea view), when we reached the lobby at around 6pm for check in, we were shocked to know that 3BR is not available due to some maintenance issues (NOT SURE IF THAT WAS REAL ISSUE- AS NEXT DAY THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF MENTIONED THAT ROOM 535 IS OCCUPIED) instead they gave us 1 two br and 1 one br which was distant apart ( room 526 and room 422A ) THIS REALLY SPOILED OUR PLANS OF MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS AND FAMILY REUNION - ESPECIALLY MIDNIGHT BIRTHDAY SURPRISES PLANS though the hotel offered us a 300$ vouchers and some discount on extended 3rd night stay - OUR PURPOSE OF CREATING GOOD MEMORIES, EXPERIENCES AND BIRTHDAY SURPRISES BY STAYING TOGETHER WAS " LOST " and all our plans was impacted Though the Manager Mr Angel mentioned to me during checkout that he is going to speak to owner of apartment and see what can be done to waive off the 3rd night stay...... A NOTE TO THE MANAGEMENT - WE CAME TO YOUR PROPERTY TO CREATE GOOD MEMORIES AND EXPERIENCE FOR OUR FAMILY REUNION AND NOT..... COLLECT VOUCHERS AND DISCOUNTS WOULD NOT VISIT AGAIN HERE OVERALL POOR EXPERIENCE

"Nice rooms, management without accountability "

Arrived to check in a little after 4, the checkin process was smooth until the associate said he was going to check if the room was ready and disappeared for 15 min leaving me hanging at the desk. The manager asked if I needed help, I explained the situation and asked why the room wasn't ready since 4 pm was checkin. Was told it would be 10-15 min. Returned 20 min later and was given keys to the room. When we walked across to it found an army of cleaning people still cleaning the room despite being given keys to the room. Got a follow up text from the Guest Experience Manager saying text back if we need anything Noticed the following morning that the chandelier was dangling by the electrical cords and texted to get it fixed. No reply! When I finally got a hold of someone they said they had no record of the original txt when I sent them a screenshot. The lock securing the gate can't possibly work so security is for show here In sum if you want to be on your own, be told that nothing is their fault, and maybe get a room this is the place to be. The place is aging and being killed for what it's worth without upkeep the attitude or the management team is anything but hospitable

"To many cons with that price level"

Firstly location: we booked this hotel because it has private beach and there is a complimentary shuttle to the Old Town and back. On the other hand the beach was dirty and full of rubbish therefore we were not able to enjoy it. The other drawback of the location is that the shuttle departs according to a strict schedule hourly which is far from the ideal frequency. In addition the hotel is really far from Duval street even the driving time seemed to long. Secondly the room: our room was really spacious but dirty and noisy because the hotel is exactly at the main road of Key West. My foot has became almost black in 10 minutes because I was naked foot in our room. In addition the view was partially blocked by the beachside restaurant. I guess that real view is only from the high floors or from the beachside suites. Thirdly the food: we had breakfast every day at the hotel which was really delicious. On the other hand it was quite expensive.

This used to be the Marriott, now it's Beachside Resort. Note: it's not a typical hotel, the don't clean rooms during the stay, no room service (so more like an airbnb) but the place is fantastic! We had no issue getting extra towels, pillows, etc. My friends and I had a 3 bedroom condo, it was huge, clean and our balcony over looked the pool. The pool also had a great bar and food service. We took a private charter from the dock behind the bar. The only drawback is the location is not walking distance to downtown/Duval Street. We took the hotel shuttle downtown (departs on the hour) and then uber'd back for $20. We would 100% stay there again.
