My Husband and i went January 9th -14th At check in we were told we would get a food credit for both of us everyday normal for double tree, they only gave us credit for 1 of us , room was not very nice We had restaurant chairs as our balcony chairs while other rooms had Adirondack chairs Never got new ice bags for our ice bucket, last night The room next to us fought from 7:50-9:55 with screaming profanities and hitting and kicking their door Called 3x finally at 9:55 someone came This isn’t supposed to be college style hotel At check realizing we were not given the standard credit and were charged Which we only used 2 times on the 4 night stay The employee was rude and aggressive I wouldn’t recommend this place The shuttle driver was the best part

"Great staff, mediocre property"

The photos on this website look very little like the current condition of this property. This place is in need of a major refurbishment. The bathroom we had (372) was disgusting! It must have been flooded and the repairs looked as if they were completed by an inexperienced handyperson. It is apparent that there were some cursory "updates" but the sink area was TINY and the room was small and SMELLY! Even the entrance staircase was in dire need of painting. The walls are not properly insulated, and our neighbor kept us awake for several hours with snoring. We got to sleep, than the neighbor's alarm went off several times before it was finally acknowledged. Oh my goodness! For the price we paid, this was THE worst resort experience ever. The staff was nice, and the food was quite good. The two patty Burger at the Gumbo Limbo restaurant was incredible -- absolute perfection! But watch out -- the Macallum 12 is $40 a single and it comes in a plastic cup if you have it by the pool. There is a $30 per day "resort fee" which includes a shuttle to Duval Street, parking, wi-fi, two bottles of water (which is a given for Hilton members), sunset watersports concierge service, and beach shuttle. We used the shuttle to Duval Street, but opted for an Uber -- the drop off location was too far a walk for the return shuttle. If we were to return to Key West, this would not be a place we would choose unless there were some serious updates to the property.

This property is so outdated! There are not even outlets to charge devices next to the beds. The carpet is disgusting. I asked for extra towels to cover it so i would have to touch it. There are no screens on the balcony doors. The food is terrible. My room was so damp that my bathing suit never dried. There rust in the bathroom shower. It’s totally inconvenient to Old Town and while the shuttle is reliable it i my goes 1x per hour. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a nicer resort closer to duval. The DT isn’t a resort. In one word I’d describe it as a dump. The worst DT I’ve stayed at.

"Good hotel to stay but bit pricy"

Stayed there for my family vacation in December 2024. Nice hotel, good location and ample parking space for self park. Rooms are big size, clean and good condition. Staff is friendly and helping. Concierge is there is lobby to advise about things to do, but they focus on sunrise tours only. If they say tour is not available, make sure to check other operators as well. We have been said so, but found out parasailing with fury ourselves. Pool is nice and good to use. It’s part of resort fees. Buffet continental breakfast is there on paid basis, but it’s good. Overall nice place to stay but costly.

Tip - ask for a room without adjoining door if you decide to stay here. Rooms - Dated, worn, basic. If you have an adjoining door you will hear EVERYTHING from your neighbor - including and not limited to coughing, sneezing, talking (every word). The lack of noise privacy is like a shared dorm. Staff indifferent to unfriendly.
