Yes, the Fury crew explains what you will see while you are in the Florida Keys Sanctuary. They will also guide you on the kayaking tour in and around the mangroves.
Mangroves are trees and shrubs that grow in tropical coastal areas, and typically have numerous entangled roots above ground. Mangroves help protect the shoreline by serving as a storm buffer and reducing wind and wave action in shallow areas. They also help prevent erosion by stabilizing the shoreline and line more than 1,800 miles of Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
The experienced and CPR-certified Fury crew will provide detailed snorkel instructions as you sail out to the backcountry. They will go over the best practices and safe snorkel procedures for your day at the reef. They will also go over how to properly use that kayak and paddle boards.
Paddleboarding requires a good amount of balance and you can either sit or stand on the board and use a paddle to maneuver. Kayaking requires you to sit and maneuver through the water with a paddle as well.
