"Great Experience at Hampton Inn, Key West!"

Great Experience at Hampton Inn, Key West! I normally thought of the Hampton Inn as a place to stay when traveling for business or when visiting family out of state. Since I was so pleased with their service on those occasions, I thought why not give them a try for vacation - we’re so glad we did! We called the Hampton Inn when we arrived at the airport and the shuttle was at the airport within 5 minutes. Shuttle was clean and spacious. Some guests mentioned they walked over from the airport as they a sidewalk is provided and it’s only about a 10 minute walk. Staff was amazing! Front desk and concierge personnel were professional, friendly and helpful - we were always greeted with a smile! Shuttle drivers were so outgoing, friendly, helpful and prompt - we had wonderful conversations with them during each ride! Shuttle sign up is conveniently located at the front desk. Shuttle drop off is in the circle drive by the entrance to the Waterfront Brewery - during pick ups it was good to be there 15 to 20 mins early because there could be a crowd waiting for first come, first serve type service. We were always able to get a shuttle utilizing this strategy. Shuttles were always very prompt! These drivers deserve a tip! Room was very clean, spacious and up to date. Balcony was very nice. Breakfast buffet was included and provided a large variety of delicious, fresh food and beverages. Everything was clean and orderly. Outdoor pool and bar were clean, comfortable and relaxing with live music at times. We normally eat in town when visiting Key West, but the food and service was so good here that we stopped back for a late dinner a couple of times and even stopped back for lunch once as well. Bartenders were friendly and service was great! The only time we noticed the airplanes flying overhead was when we were at the outdoor bar and honestly it was kind of interesting and fun to see the planes up close. Grounds are beautiful and well cared for. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

I thought the pool area was awesome. The patio was also nice and the chairs were comfortable. Food and drinks were good at the bar. The drawback was no hot tub and the beach is actually across the road which I didn't realize. Airplanes also fly right above the hotel which was loud but cool to watch. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. This place is family friendly with free breakfast. I also thought free drinks were nice, 2 per day. The room and hotel were extremely clean. I would stay again. This hotel was a stop on the hop on hop off tour which was convenient.

Location is far from downtown where all the action in Key West is although the facility is on the Hop On and Off Tour. Facility has several buildings so can be tricky to find room. Room can be a distance from lobby and breakfast. Nice pool and accompanying bar,

"Nick is a Rock Star!!"

Stayed in December for a nice getaway even though my wife had broken her foot!! Nick set us up in a room close to Handicap spots/Ice & parking lot - very thoughtful. YES the breakfast is Busy YES there are planes (maybe 5-6 a day) and it is not near Duval; but the location & staff attitude was excellent - room was clean and we are happy Diamond members. Bar area was great, Jenna made us very comfortable. Already planning a return trip when wife's foot heals.

"BEAUTIFUL ROOMS"

Rooms in this hotel are huge and nicely decorated. Microwave very useful. Safe and fridge in the room. We stayed on the 2nd floor away from the road. Lift to second floor. The noise of aircrafts didn’t disturbed us as the last one is around 8pm. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Not enough tables inside and the area is too small. Not well design for an easy flow of people queuing. I enjoyed making my own waffles. Parking is free which is nice and you can park near your room which makes it easier to carry your suitcases. The resort fee of 30 dollars gives you access to two free drinks at the swimming pool bar. Very large pool but we didn’t use it. Sam the receptionist was very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.
