Description

After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train, unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus and a life—and love—beyond his wildest dreams. Directed by Tony Award® nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo), with a book by three-time Tony nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Peter and the Starcatcher) adapted from Sara Gruen’s novel and a soaring score by the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co., Water for Elephants unites innovative stagecraft with the very best of Broadway talent in an authentic and deeply moving new musical that invites us all to give ourselves to the unknown.

This show is approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.

Loved every second of this! The cast, the music, the ACROBATICS! It’s a blast from start to finish! It’s sadly closing soon so if you can, go see it! 🎪🐘

Incredible show! From the sets to the story to the amazing Acrobatics, you will be mesmerized the whole time. My husband who generally dislikes broadway shows really enjoyed it too. Definitely go see this one

"A lovey afternoon at the theatre"

This show is a really lovely day at the theatre. For me, the highlight of this production is its whimsy. This show is visually spectacular, maintained by a core group of performers who literally FLY across that stage. Even upon second viewing I found myself grinning (and gaping!) whenever they were on stage, and I’ll never get over the magic of these incredible artists. I recommend checking it out before they close next month!
