Really smart hotel and great central location but the best thing by far is the fantastic Team who work here and really look after you from the minute you arrive outside. In a busy city where great service and attitude isn’t readily obvious Tempo is an oasis. Would definitely stay again.

Never stay at this hotel low and poor quality of rooms damage front door never fixed and it was reported also pay for a room that i didn't get over charge you a lot some one called me today from hotel service experience i asked about the rate she said i don't have access to your reservation details i recommended everyone do not stay at this hotel they will not accommodate you on the type of room that you pay for and never fixed the front door of room NEVER RECOMMENDED

I stayed at this hotel recently and, while it is undeniably lovely—very clean with plenty of staff available to assist with the somewhat confusing elevator system—I cannot recommend it due to its misleading and excessive security deposit policy. Despite paying in full for my booking upfront, the hotel charged an additional "security deposit" equivalent to the entire cost of my stay again, with no prior warning on either the Booking.com information page or the hotel’s own policies. Fortunately, I had a credit card to cover the amount, but it completely depleted my planned spending budget for this trip. The hotel doesn’t accept cash for the deposit, and my money was held for 12 days before being refunded. This feels like a way for the hotel to hold customers’ money for their own benefit, potentially reducing their borrowing costs. I don’t like leaving a negative review, and after the challenges of the pandemic, I’ve made an effort to support the travel and hospitality industry. However, this experience left me completely annoyed. My frustration was compounded when feedback was requested by Booking.com and the hotel but none of it was actioned, and I’ve seen no evidence of changes or updates to the information provided to future guests. While the hotel itself is lovely and the staff are helpful, this lack of transparency about its policies completely overshadowed my stay. Unless you have a credit card to hand and are willing to wait up to 12 days for your money to be refunded, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Location is perfect…close to theaters, restaurants, MOMA, Times Square, Rockefeller Center.. Rooms were clean but small. Front of hotel faces another hotel, not directly looking at Times Square, though some rooms do. A few (4 or 5?) blocks from the ball drop on New Years. Food at The Highball is sparse and expensive…$50 for a sandwich, 2 coffees and OJ. Biggest pet peeve was checking in. We arrived at noon, official ck in time is 4:00pm. We were told our room was ready, but it would cost ANOTHER $50 to get in before 4. The very small lobby was STACKED with luggage from guests who did not want to pay the extra $50. There are plenty of hotels in the area. I won’t go back to The Hilton.

Hotel was amazing. Kessi was able to upgrade my stay as I am a Lifetime Hilton Diamond Member. She was able to accommodate my request for this coming week and made some changes to my hotel stay which brings me back to the hotel. Kessi went above and beyond and provided impeccable customer service. I will continue to stay here during my business travel.
