Description

From the creative team behind the Tony Award-winning In The Heights comes a wildly inventive new musical about the scrappy young immigrant who forever changed America: Alexander Hamilton.

Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda wields his pen and takes the stage as the unlikely founding father determined to make his mark on a new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From bastard orphan to Washington's right-hand man, rebel to war hero, loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal to Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy, HAMILTON is an exploration of a political mastermind.

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Eliza Hamilton, and lifelong Hamilton friend and foe, Aaron Burr, all attend this revolutionary tale of America’s fiery past told through the sounds of the ever-changing nation we’ve become.
Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail directs this new musical about taking your shot, speaking your mind, and turning the world upside down.

This show is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including intermission. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.

This is one of my all time favourite musicals and seeing it on the stage was amazing. I love the moving set pieces and how things are choreographed around it. Drinks. And whatnot are insanely expensive, as per tradition, but I couldn’t beat my view from the fifth row

"Hamilton was an amazing performance!"

We saw Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers theater in NYC. We had seats H6 & H8 in Orchestra right which were premium priced seats. The view of the stage from here was perfect. I wasn’t sure about seeing the musical at first because I’d read it’s a lot of rap music but everything turned out just fine. The songs and the performers voices were amazing. It was a very enjoyable time. We got our tickets online through broadway direct which is the official website. If you plan on attending, try and book your seats well in advance (as in months). There are no performances on Monday, and try to book during the week to get the lowest ticket prices. The doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Make sure you go to the restroom before the show as you’re not supposed to leave your seats during the performance. There is a 15 minute intermission halfway through that you can use but of course the restrooms are very busy at that time. No photography is allowed and you’ll get kicked out if you try. There is a bar, but we didn’t use it so I can’t speak to that. That’s about it, have a wonderful time.

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE"

Today my wife and I went to Buell Theater in Denver to see the musical "Hamilton". .....What a disgusting experience! On the 30th second I was sure I will not watch it and listen it. it is a ...RAP and Hip Hop. UGLY to a point that I plugged my years with napkins. Brrrr. Scenic performance.... ?!? WHY? PLEASE WHY? Actors playing historic times from 18th century ....RAPPING !?!? DISGUST! I stood it 80 minutes and left after the first act. I really enjoyed the fresh air in downtown and the peacefully quiet place. In theater was like in s jumbo-jet engine. TERRIBLE LOUD RAP. Please people save your money and health. ............... My wife watched the entire show and liked it. I am not going to Buell theater again. ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

For me, this musical is innovative, exciting and relevant, and has evolved within theater and popular culture. Its effective tool changes the way stories are told to new generations and helps reflect on the events surrounding the main character. It has impressive performances and overall I loved it.
