V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film offers a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience exclusively at Sphere. Directed by Morleigh Steinberg and The Edge, this concert film showcases the groundbreaking U2:UV show that played to over 700,000 fans from across 100+ countries during 40 sold-out performances from September 2023 through March 2024. V-U2 allows audiences to feel as if they are part of the live shows, enhancing the connection to U2's music and performance.

This film is the first ever shot entirely with Big Sky, a revolutionary ultra-high-resolution camera system developed by Sphere Entertainment. Using multiple Big Sky cameras, the film captures U2 at an extraordinary scale, sharpness, and clarity. Experience Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, which ensures crystal-clear audio for every seat. Additionally, haptic seats provide vibrations that allow guests to 'feel' the action. These innovative technologies combine in V-U2 to create a truly unique concert experience, reinforcing the sensation of being at a live U2 performance.

Great experience. Its something you have to do once. Very well done. Can't really say too much more as it'll give the experience away but all I'll say is try it!

The Sphere is an extraordinary venue that is unmatched in the world. It took 5 years to build and has over 125,000 speakers, providing perfect sound and incredible 270degree moving visuals beautifully created and synchronized to enhance the music being performed. Many of the seats are enabled to sense the musical vibrations and movement - incredible! We saw the Eagles in concert, though truthfully, the experience would be fantastic no matter what.

"View more interesting from the outside at night"

I found watching the displays on the outside of the Sphere from our hotel room (Palazzo) more interesting than the experience of the Postcards from Earth show from inside. It was not that different from an I-MAX to me, but young kids might like it more. I found it was overpriced ($150 per person, plus Ticketscammer er, Ticketmaster fees). That being said, I think it would be a great place to see a live concert, and I would consider that if an artist that I wanted to see were to play there.

The Eagles' residency at the Las Vegas Sphere was a spectacular experience, blending timeless music with cutting-edge technology. The visuals, projected on the Sphere's 16K wraparound LED screen, were immersive yet not overwhelming, enhancing the music rather than overshadowing it. Tributes to Glenn Frey added an emotional touch, with his son Deacon Frey stepping in to honor Bands pay a one time 12 mil fee to make the 16k film and must book 8 shows to break even and 12 to make money. if they booked one show they would be in the negative 5 million. The bands control inventory of all tickets. After 32 nights at the Sphere, the Eagles are set for a plush retirement. The venue opened 1.5 hours before the show. The campus (the outside area only) opened 3 prior. There was a bridge that was connected from the Venetian to the Sphere. However, the door was locked on the Venetian side and they will not unlock it until 1.5 hours before the show. Supposedly, the Venetian owns and controls the bridge and they make you wait at the hotel until 1.5 prior. The bridge was built off the expo which is part of the Ballroom/Convention located off the Venetian hotel (not the Palazzo). The bridge on the Sphere (stairs only) side opened 2.5 prior but you still had to wait until 1.5 prior to enter the venue. There are packages sold by Vibee include hotel and concert and enter thru the west entrance 5 minutes before others. Floor seats enter thru the east entrance The Eagles concerts sold floor seats but all other concert are standing only in the pit so they have to get yellow wrist bands. The Vibee customers get first dib to the stage in the pit area. Security was professional yet strict, maintaining order without detracting from the experience. The floor level was limited to alcohol only.

"Postcard from Earth - Good but expensive"

The technology is impressive, the price feels unjustified for what it delivers. My daughters enjoyed it quite a bit but I really did feel like it was far too expensive for what it is (a glorified imax planet doc)
