Spark by Hilton Grapevine DFW North in Grapevine, TX

The staff there has been extremely rude and disrespectful. Please do not stay here. I understand that things happen during travel but you do not have to yell at your customers. The least they could do is have the manager call me back and he still hasn't.

Misleading Information, Rude Staff, and Refund Refusal I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. We didn’t even end up staying because of how poorly we were treated. Upon check-in, the front desk employee tried charging us $20 per day for parking, despite the website clearly stating that parking is free. When we questioned this, the employee was rude and dismissive. We even contacted Hilton customer service, and their representative confirmed that the website states free parking. The Hilton rep argued with the hotel employee, who refused to listen and resorted to yelling at us instead of resolving the issue professionally. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to refund our money even though Hilton customer service confirmed they were able to do so. Thankfully, Hilton customer service was extremely helpful—they refunded our money and assured us they were starting an investigation into this property’s behavior. This experience was completely unacceptable. If a hotel cannot honor its advertised policies or treat its guests with respect, it should not be allowed to carry the Hilton name. Recommendation: Avoid this hotel at all costs. Hilton customer service was excellent, but this property is a nightmare.

The tube was full off blonde hair. I called down to the front desk and they said I would have to wait until tomorrow to get the tub cleaned. So I couldn't shower tonight. I would have to go to bed dirty until someone comes in the morning to clean it.

Showed up and they had given away my room despite my having called ahead to let them know I'd be arriving late. When I asked where I was supposed to sleep that night the manager told me "you'll figure it out". They only partially refunded my stay, insisting on charging a cancellation fee despite being the ones who cancelled the reservation. From the other reviews I've read, sounds like I dodged a bullet.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation - so work is going on in rooms and breakfast area - however it didn't really affect our stay as we were out all day. We had a renovated room which was clean and spacious. Breakfast is ample - waffles, breads, bagels, yogurts omelette & either bacon/ sausage. Small area for breakfast at the moment. Very convenient for Grapevine 15-20 minute walk to the station on Main street.
