"Do not book meeting or groups here!"

We used to book our meetings and our training teams at this hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn, but we don't even get call backs or email replies anymore. Used to work with Dana & Jeremy and never had issues. Left several messages for Bobby and sales team and no call back. Billing issues have been a mess with our last 2 groups. When I called today, the excuse I got was that their DOS is no longer there. We've just had too many problems with employees cars being broken into, our meals being late, buffets missing items, and WI-FI issues. Our company will be moving all our business to the Hilton DFW Lakes to work with David & Dana again. Do not do business with these hotels!

"Overcharged for room, terrible and expensive food"

I generally do not stay at Courtyards because breakfast is not provided. I had to stay here because of an event. As a Bonvoy member, I did get a $10 credit for breakfast at the Bistro, but the only food option that cost less than $10 was a measly yogurt parfait that was $9. Also, I am gluten-free, and the options were meager. I ordered the fritatta, which ended up being a very flat, thin layer of plain scarmbled eggs topped with salad and dressing. That is not what a fritatta is supposed to be. Who wants salad for breakfast? And on top of egg? It was neither tasty nor filling. I had to eat again in my room to feel like I had even had breakfast. Furthermore, the seating in the Bistro was in terrible condition. The vinyl was peeling off the cushions, and the seats felt like the springs were busted. Additionally, I was double charged for my room. I brought it to the attention of the desk clerk immediately, but she insisted it was a bank error since only one charge was showing up on the hotel account. She said the charge would fall off after a few days. It still has not, after four days (two business days). Right now, I am out $830 for two nights. I had to file a claim with my bank. I will never stay at this property again. I have stayed next door at the TownePlace Suites, and it is excellent. Do yourself a favor and stay there instead.

"Not a pleasant experience"

We had a number of issues at this property. It was not up to traditional Marriott standards. 1. It is labeled as an Airport hotel, and the website advertises that there is an airport shuttle. We never were able to take advantage of the shuttle. When it first came to get us we did not know it was a Marriott shuttle because the vehicle had many other hotels on it so we missed it. We then waited an hour in the freezing (12 degrees in Dallas!) cold for the shuttle to return before giving up and hiring a taxi. The next morning, we were told we would have to wait a while to get the shuttle, so we hired an Uber. Do not select this hotel for the shuttle service!!! 2. The room was dingy and dark, overall unpleasant. 3. The first room stunk of cat pee. I was switched to another room which did not smell. 4. The towels smelled like vomit. 5. The breakfast was supposed to be free, We requested that as our Elite Member on Property Benefit. But we were charged $39.01 for it. While it was a decent breakfast, it was not worth $39.01, especially since it was supposed to be free. There are many better Marriotts in Dallas. Keep looking. (The Residence Inn in Dallas/Bedford and Renaissance in downtown are among our favorites.)

"Horrible service!"

More than 30 minutes waiting for the shuttle to pick me up at DFW. Then, more than 30 minutes waiting for a burger on “The Bistro”. After all these hours traveling, tired, and now more tired than hungry, the only words I can find in my mind is: “what a horrible & terrible service!!!” What is next?

Great experience!! It's my first time driving solo away from my family and my stay here was excellent! Had to get a drink from the bar, Nick was the bartender and he made a great cocktail drink for me. Customer service is excellent!! Will stay here again!!
