Absolutely ridiculous place! I grew up going to this place and it has changed so much that it is not worth it. First off... Google maps says that it is open until 8pm. It is NOT! It closes at 6pm and they do NOT give you ANY warning that the park will be closing. They will charge you $20 per person to have unlimited drinks from THEIR cups but you are not allowed to take them on ANY rides or even in the lazy river and wave pool. We went on a day that was 105 degrees but were made to get out of the wave pool and the lazy river for having a cup of ice water in a body of WATER! We had the all day dining pass and at one point went to get wings from one of the restaurants. We waited 20 minutes for 2 orders of wings while we watched others who waited even longer than us and had their orders passed out to people who had been there less time and even to people who the orders didn't belong to. The girl working our window took our order and then just turned her back to us while she ignored us and chit chatted with her coworker. Another young man had to come over and refill my husband's drink and asked them what they were doing with their backs turned to us and ignoring us. The young girl just ignored him and remained with her back to us. During this time one of the other young boys working there proceeded to yellow the f word and the n word repeatedly in front of a line full of customers. The worst part of our whole experience though was that we walked outside for a minute expecting the park to close at 8 rather than 6 and then was told when we realized that they were closing that I couldn't come back in to get my MINOR teenage children! LUCKILY we had thought it would be closing later so we had told my children to get a snack and wait for us at the picnic tables so I knew exactly where they were rather them wandering the park trying to ride parks. It wasn't until mama bear started coming out and I started to get loud and frantic at the gate trying to get to my kids and making a point that they knew that my children were minors still in the park before they would even let a security guard escort me 50 feet in to the park to where my children were so I could get them and all of our phones and possessions from our locker. I will NEVER spend money at the this place ever again! $350 for 4 people to have admission, food passes, and parking to have the worst experience while we were there and to be told that I was not allowed back in to get my children all because we were misinformed about the closing time.

I went to Hurricane Harbor for the first time in fourteen years on Wednesday, August 4. I had read the negative reviews but thought maybe they had worked on some of the issues. They have not. My ticket was only $30 which I thought was great until I had to pay $40 to park. We didn't buy any concessions inside the park because everything was so expensive. There were 7 rides closed. This caused the lines at the other attractions to be extremely long even though It wasn't that crowded. The lazy river was even closed, but they still had lifeguards sitting around it. Those lifeguards could have been working at a ride so there would be more things to do. This will be my last trip to the park. Other parks in the area will offer more. I am not sure how they stay in business.

We visited the park on 7/16/23. Handicap Parking: All Handicap spots were taken. We went to preferred where the spots were and the whole parking lot was empty. Because our season pass didn't included preferred parking we were not allowed to park in the area. Usually at other parks if the handicap spots are taken you are still allowed to park in the preferred area. Not the case with this venue. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was rolling her eyes the whole time. As an accommodation can you open up the area to those of us with handicap placards? She said if she did then the whole parking lot would be filled with handicap people and the preferred guest who paid for the pass would not have spots. I said statically that shouldn't be the case and if it is then that is a venue problem not accommodating the disabled. Other accommodations: There no accommodations given. Although, I had to sign up for IBCCES Accessibility Card with this venue listed, I was told this venue does not have any accommodations. Our child could not participate in any of the rides as the wait times were 1 hour +. Quality: I was very disappointed in the quality of staff. They were young and completely uneducated in individuals and families with disabilities. We were unfairly treated at the customer service counter.

"Cursing Staff and long lines make is a 1’star for us"

We went to Hurricane Harbor today (7-10-2024) for the first time. We love six flags and have been season pass holders for years. On this trip we enjoyed 2 days at six flags over Texas. However, today, on our third and last day in Arlington, we decided to try hurricane harbor. What a mistake! Our trip started off rough because for a weekday it was ridiculously over crowded, hours long lines for a 30 second ride. We would rather go to another park without the lines but understand it’s not really the parks fault that it’s crowded. However, in addition to the long unemployable lines what really made us dissatisfied with our experience was the staff’s lack of professionalism. While purchasing ice cream with my 10 year old son multiple staff members verbally fought over who had to do what job while cussing at each other many, many, MANY times. If I hadn’t already paid (including a tip I wish I could have back), we would have walked away but instead were subjected to “you motherf:@:er, _________, no you’re the Mother___er” etc, etc, etc…… this exchange occurred between 4 staff members for over a minute. They made no attempt to lower their voices, and even made eye contact with me, then continued on without care or concern for my obvious frustration, since I pointed at my son as one of them said another MF’er. Completely unprofessional, and while not our only negative staff interaction on our visit, it was definitely the worst. Long lines on top of lazy, rude, and disrespectful staff, in what I thought was a “family park” makes me wish I could leave 0 stars.
