The hotel boasts a stunning location and beautiful views, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a front desk employee who did not offer us a welcome drink or assistance with our luggage. We had to navigate the resort carrying our bags ourselves. Additionally, our package included a bottle of wine in our room, which we did not receive. When we inquired about it at the front desk, we were informed that we needed to return to collect it ourselves, as they would not deliver it to us. Victoria, the hotel manager, was kind and attentive when I shared our concerns; however, I felt that the hotel’s size made it difficult for them to adequately cater to the number of guests. While we didn’t have a terrible experience, I expected a higher level of service given the amount of money we spent.

Southernmost Beach Hotel in Key West has a fantastic location—right by the water and within easy reach of all the main attractions. The three pools and private beach area with comfortable sunbeds make it a great place to relax. The rooms are cozy and well-kept, though the air conditioner was quite loud, which was a bit of a downside. Still, the overall atmosphere and setting more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a beachfront stay with great facilities and a laid-back Key West vibe, this is a solid choice.

This was our second time staying at the Southernmost and we again had a wonderful time. This year we stayed in the La Mer House and we loved it. Everyone we encountered on the staff was warm, friendly and accomodating. The property is beautiful with four pools, two pool bars, a beach and an on-cite restaurant which is delicious. Highly recomment

Excellent four night stay for our 40th anniversary! The accommodations, staff, and location can't be beat. We chose to upgrade our room to an ocean view with balcony, totally worth it. Restaurant had great food, not real cheap, but food quality, staff and views were worth the dollars. Enough pools and beach for whatever you like, and many shops and restaurants within walking distance to explore.
