"Good spot for a cocktail consider staying literally anywhere else"

Beautiful location, a beautiful hotel. You are steps away from some of the best bars in Key West. The hotel bar is awesome and the food was delicious the bartenders make incredible cocktails. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in an older hotel, totally fine for a few nights but if you are staying longer you might go crazy. They claimed we were upgraded to some kind of suite and it turned out to be a pretty normal hotel room. Not sure why they even said we were "upgraded" -- it was kind of weird. I would say the hotel staff were awful. There was a weird resort fee you had to pay and then use in-house which was fine since we got drinks there but it was confusing to understand and poorly explained. We were staying there as a family of three and had only 2 towels the whole time. We asked for some additional towels and they were taken away when they cleaned the room. They took the towels we had hanging up and left us with two towels again. We then called three times to get an extra towel and it never came, the person at the desk gave me attitude and blamed housekeeping but did nothing to make good on our request for an additional towel. The only lasting imprint this place made is that I will go somewhere else next time we visit Key West. The Fairfield Inn in Key West has better accommodations and service. The whole experience was really underwhelming. Frankly, it should not be an autograph collection hotel if they can't give you more than two towels.

As a local, I'm always on the lookout for new places to try in our city. This new coffee shop opened in November and caught my attention right away. It's a beautiful setting, delicious sandwiches, and, of course, delicious coffee, you won't find anywhere else in our city. My pick is El Dom and the Cordadito made by Pia.

Took my wife and family there for my wife's birthday lunch. Was in town for the day and stopped in for lunch. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant as well. The menu was very diverse and surprising. Ordered a bunch of plates and ate them family style. Food was delicious. Chef even came out and greeted the table. If your in key West stop for a delicous unique culinary experience.
