Dress in layers and wear weather-appropriate clothing, as the boat is open-air and not climate-controlled. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are also recommended. Although the boat is mostly covered, there is an uncovered deck in the back.

Is the boat wheelchair accessible?

No, the Explorer Jetboat is not wheelchair or walker accessible. Guests must be steady on their feet and take steps into and out of the boat.

What if the weather is bad?

The cruise operates rain or shine, but may be canceled in severe weather for safety reasons. In the event of a weather-related cancelation, Portland Spirit will reach out at least 2 hours prior to the cruise.

Are food and drinks available on board?

There are no food or drinks included with your ticket and none available for purchase. However, you are welcome to bring food and drinks on board as long as it fits in a small bag that can be held in your lap or at your feet.
