"Low priority on the list of things to do with kids."

The aquarium is interesting but very expensive for what is offered. It was $175.00 (which includes $15 for parking) for one adult, one senior, and two kids under 5. There were a few dolphins, turtles, pelicans, lizzards, and one half dead otter. Not much in the way of interactive things for kids to do. You have to go through not one but two gift shops- tough to get through since kids always want something. They are a rescue focused organization which is great, but for the money, it was a disappointment.

"Disappointing"

Really rather disappointing for the price; we have been to so much better. It felt rather tatty and dingy. Signing was poor so that although a schedule of presentations were listed it wasn't easy to find them. Having seen someone have the shark experience I'm glad I didn't waste $90 to throw a few bits of fish to the solitary nurse shark. Oh, and $15 to park on top of admission is a bit much.

Very expensive, tourist trap. Wanted to do 2 pictures with dolphins, for our two kids. Total cost was going to be $300. Tourist trap, and the aquarium is kind of dirty. Will not be back.

"Overall disappointed"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

Overall, we were disappointed. I’m not certain what my expectations were but for $40 I was expecting more than I got. There’s no good map or diagram or flow to the exhibits. We saw a short movie that was kinda boring, especially for a 5 year old. We saw a few dolphins, small sharks and turtles. But not many. The building needs some attention- water leaks. They could have used more help too. I hate to bash a venue that looks more like a research / rescue mission than an entertainment venue. So, if you want to make a donation to a good cause then I’d suggest you go here. But it wasn’t worth $40 to me.

"Help support the mission of helping injured sea life!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed February 08, 2025
The aquarium's commitment to rescuing and rehabilitating injured sea life as a non-profit organization is truly commendable. Negative reviews often stem from visitors who anticipate a large, for-profit commercial aquarium focused solely on entertainment. I encourage everyone to support this vital mission and contribute to the well-being of the animals.
