"Not the best Westin experience"

The hotel is kind of dingy. Gross carpets, gym is dirty, no hot water in the showers, one elevator doesn’t work. Generally expect better from a Westin and for the price we paid. Good things are there is a Starbucks in the hotel, the restaurant is good and the staff is very friendly.

"Not Happy with what is going on here....."

I walk into my room & there is a full size treadmill in my BEDROOM!! Yet, there is NO refrigerator. Really? No possible way to have cold water when I want it?? Unacceptable. Valet was not there when I came back in the evening. Luckily a manager(?) parked my car for me.... I offered to self park it. No fride, No Ice maker on the floor.... call down & I ask for ice to chill my water bottles. -- TIP : USE the garbage cans for coolers!!!!! This place is a slight dump. Until they finish with " renovations" .... ( what ever those are) ---- STAY AWAY. Find a better area. Oh, and .... the toilet won't stop draining & filling... uurrrggggg ... I will inform my company to not spend the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ on this location ever again. --- Good Luck & hope this saved you some anguish.. ~~ KRAZY!!

"Unacceptable Conditions at Aqua - Westin Tampa Bay"

I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice evening at Aqua in the Westin Tampa Bay, but unfortunately, the experience was a huge letdown. My friends and I decided to sit at the bar, but it was unbearably hot. It felt like the AC was off, and there was no air circulating at all. This is Florida—proper air conditioning is a must! After ordering a drink, we couldn't take the heat anymore and had to leave the bar to finish our drinks in the lobby, where at least the temperature was comfortable. For a place that prides itself on being upscale, this was simply unacceptable.

"Dependable Westin Service and Quality"

Stayed here twice in the past year. Once for business and another for a family trip. Good old fashioned Westin quality, service and pricing. Always good, always consistent. Great for business trips and family enroute transport trips due to the great location by the airport.

I've stayed at this place almost 10 times now and I love it. I feel so at home here. The staff is wonderful and the room is cozy and provides an awesome view. Outside by the bay you can go to the beach, have a cocktail, hang out w friend. It has an amazing ambience!! It's a nice vacation away from home and it's not too pricey. I would absolutely recommend this place! I do wish there was an outdoor pool but they make up for it w/jet Ali's and kayaks and lots of activities. It's also right Next to Bahamas breeze which is an awesome good time w great food and drinks. The beds are so comfortable just like every Westin has amazing beds. Front Desk staff is very nice and welcoming.
