Description

WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 29,000 square feet of "edutainment." The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

WonderWorks Panama City Beach exhibits include the death-defying bed of nails, wonder coasters, a bubble lab, an indoor glow-in-the-dark ropes course, astronaut training gyros, and more!

WonderWorks began as a top-secret research laboratory on a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle. As legend has it, the world’s greatest scientists, led by Professor Wonder, were given the task of creating a man-made tornado and harnessing its power. This experiment gone awry ripped the laboratory from its foundation and carried it to Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach, Florida, where it landed upside down. Luckily, all of the exhibits remained intact and available for visitors to explore.

Step inside the inversion tunnel and be turned right side up to begin your journey. Once you are properly aligned for your adventure, family fun awaits.

"Fun activity out of the sun!"

We enjoy taking a break from the sun or rainy weather here with our children while visiting the beach. Our favorite activities are the ropes course and laser tag. We have a tall 3 (almost 4) yo and 6 yo who loved doing both this year.

"Most disappointing of all locations"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

We were extremely disappointed in this WonderWorks, and have visited a few in our travels. It's a favorite among our kids but it's expensive so we do not appreciate one of the two VIP rides being down. There is signage telling you that there is weight limits for certain rides but they really understate it and make it seem like it's not much. My husband is a big muscular guy slightly over 250 and let me tell you... they will WEIGH you at every single ride. I cannot state enough, if you are over 250 lbs this will be a huge waste of money and a disappointment for you. To add insult - MANY of the things we could do to amuse ourselves were not operational, broken, or down for routine maintenance. It's shameful to decide on a given day in the off season it's ok to start cleaning carpets and replacing tiles and sprucing things up at the expense of your full price guests. Also - some things you can't do with open toed shoes... in Beach town. And to be fair they do tell you this when paying to enter. Just frustrating because... nothing you can do about your shoes by then. Not only will we not be back, we may contact corporate about our experience. Almost $300 for a disappointing family experience.

"Zero stars - awful attraction"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

If I could give this place zero stars. I would. It was so overcrowded we could barely walk. It should be criminal to not cut off entry at some point. The place is really small- the entire upstairs was boring exhibits abut tricks of the eye type of artwork (is it a vase or two faces type of thing). I was disgusted by the ticket prices and how little we were able to do because of the overcrowding. Will never visit a WonderWorks again.

"Great rainy afternoon "

Lots of fun. Front desk quite helpful. Needs more sanitizer because quite a few were empty. And the eating area was a mess and desperately needed cleaning. Needs a little bit better AC for the amount of people., but great for a rainy afternoon.
