The property is in a great location, with everything we needed. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Shout out to Kathy at the front desk! We arrived early and were given full access to the property while we waited for our room to be ready.

From start to finish my experience with the hospitality team here at the Springhill Suites was PHENOMENAL. I must admit a few reviews had me a bit cautious, but I am glad I took a leap of fate! This was a quick but must needed get away, that we thoroughly enjoyed. The room and view were AMAZING! Special shout out to the over night agent Ethan he was extremely hospitable, accommodating, and just an all around great person! and also Ms Kathy was very sweet to us and fixed our keys in a breeze. Thank you again for having us. with love from NOLA❤️

"Beach stay"

My stay was mainly marred by the noise level. I was 12 stories up, and the sounds from the street outside sounded as if I was on street level. I actually thought a window was open allowing that level of noise to be heard in my room. Granted, it was bike week, but every outdoor noise was plainly evident in the room. The room itself was large and spacious allowing for plenty of room during our stay. The same for the bathroom, roomy and comfortably sized. The tub must have been replaced at some point because the step out of the tub onto the bathroom floor felt perilously high. My 74 year old mom said that it was a tripping, slipping issue for her. The towels we nicely sized and there were an adequate supply of them. The room walls were scuffed and dirty in at least 3 sections of the room. The rug between the bathroom and the main room was frayed and needs repairing. Microwave and fridge were great. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The sheets though, felt rough on my skin (especially the pillowcase - I went to the store to purchase my own) Breakfast was really good with a nice selection of choices to eat. We ate at the Compass restaurant for dinner one night - it was just OK. Best meal was the kids grilled cheese. The pool and beach area was truly lovely. Very well maintained and so comfortable to relax and enjoy my time at. I was disappointed about the chair fees, but I understand that is standard at the beach area. The public areas and elevator lobbies smell too strongly was some cinnamon based air freshener. The little Cafe on P level was lovely too. A nice option while sitting poolside. Free parking is a nice perk too. Overall, without the issue of the noise, ww had a lovely stay. Unfortunately, the noise level and smells from outside, made 2 of our nights there anxiety inducing.

We love this hotel! Beautifully decorated room. Love the sliding door to the bathroom as this provides more room to get ready. The balcony gulf view was awesome and so nice to wake up to every morning. We loved the breakfast bar! Thanks to Nakelia for her excellent customer service and kindness. We hope to be back soon!

"Nice pool area and on the beach!"

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we were given the courtesy to use the pool and beach from our hotel - Marriott Legends Edge (about 25 minutes away) because they are refurbishing the pool area at our hotel. The pool was nice (not real big) with a lazy river as part of the pool. They had pool towels and pool umbrellas to use. It is on the beach which is really nice. We had a sub sandwich ($14) at the poolside restaurant and there is a pool bar - closes at 4pm. Happy hour upstairs starts at 4pm with 2 for 1 tap beer and 1/2 price well liquor drink specials ($10 regular price).
