Highly recommend this place. So much to do and very well laid out. You can sit and play around in actual planes! You must do the Island tour but make sure you can climb a ladder. They are steep. Good for all ages

Took the time out to explore this amazing aircraft carrier. And it was truly amazing, what a place. You can lots off areas of the ship from the galley to the dentist all areas are accessible. There is an audio if you want or do your own thing. The staff are volunteers mainly x service who are knowledgeable and extremely professional in their work. The carrier is still used by the navy for retirement services. Which we were privileged to observe. Take your time and visit all the decks.

We spent an excellent morning at the Midway, so many aircraft & helicopters to see on the flight deck. Loads of rooms and parts of the ship are open to the public to tour. Most of the volunteers served on the ship and are super passionate about it, they are all super helpful and knowledgeable. The audio tour is fantastic, although some of the stations didn’t work. Would definitely recommend it.
