Eco-friendly LED and CFL lights along with solar shades are featured in each room. Rooms with balconies and city views are available.

Guests can stop in for libations at the bar, which offers a lounge menu, specialty cocktails, and craft beer. A Downtown San Diego Restaurant serves modern, Southern California cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For quick meals and snacks, Ingredients Grab ’n’ Go offers pre-made sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and specialty drinks

Guests can relax in the outdoor pool or work out in the fitness center. A business center and concierge services are available. Spa services including massages are offered by Pure Body Spa. Advance reservations are required.

Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are 10 10-minute drive from The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres professional baseball team, is a 15-minute walk from The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

Minimum age to check-in: The reservation holder must be at least 18 years old to check in with a matching, valid, government-issued photo ID and credit card.

Parking: Valet parking is available for USD 60 per day per vehicle. Underground parking valet is only USD 10 per hour or USD 60 overnight - garage height clearance is 8 feet.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome (dogs only). A non-refundable pet fee of $25 per night is due upon arrival. A maximum of 50 lbs and only 1 pet per room is allowed. Please notify the hotel prior to the arrival date if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

Resort fee: A daily destination fee of $25 will be collected upon arrival. Inclusions are:

The “royal treatment” started at check in. Rose was very efficient and friendly. Our room was well appointed and had great views of the city and bay harbor. Suzanne at the concierge stand was most helpful with information on the Destination Amenity card and dining suggestions. And finally Marjorie at check out made us want to spend another night. Overall a great stay!

We felt so welcome, by far the best front desk experience I have had in a hotel. Majorie made sure we were aware of all of the perks of the hotel including the tour and drink vouchers. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and our stay was comfortable. The room was very clean and the location was perfect for us. Will definitely return to this hotel next time we come to San Diego!

Our second stay at this Westin. Great location, near enough to the bustle without being right in the middle of the Gaslamp chaos. Easy 15 minute or less walking distance to the Santa Fe Depot, USS Midway, Seaport Village, and Petco Park. This time i brought my newly acquired UV flashlight 🔦 and the linens, toilet, showers and all counter and table surfaces in our room passed (though the club chair has seen things lol)! I was so happy and relieved (but steered clear of the club chair)! Way to go, housekeeping!! The room decor looked like it was recently refreshed, and the whole property smelled fantastic. 😍 The front desk, restaurant, coffee bar, and valet staff were so kind and considerate. Whoever does recruitment and hiring here does a great job finding the right candidates. My only nit is that the temperature in the Westin Workout studio on the third floor is a little extra warm. The hotel does charge a destination fee, but it includes several complimentary activities. Take advantage of these offerings if you can. On our last stay we enjoyed the complimentary harbor cruise for two, which would have cost more than the destination fee.

This is quite nice well located Westin in Gaslamp Quarter. The rate was fairly reasonable for my 2 night stay on business, I would even venture to call it inexpensive. The staff really shined there! Everyone was friendly, cheerful, and smiling. My Titanium status was properly acknowledged, the room upgrade was appreciated, as well as complimentary breakfast and other amenities. The room was spacious and well designed. The decor was ok, a little "tired" though. The bathroom design could be better, and can sue some facelift. The common areas were pleasant, no complaints. The only negative factor affecting my review was a bit of hiccup with room housekeeping. Still solid 4.5, not perfect, but highly recommend.
