Where does the San Francisco dinner cruise​​ depart from?

The cruise departs from Pier 3 on the Embarcadero at Washington St.

Is parking available at the pier?

Yes, paid public parking is available at Pier 3 for a discounted rate to City Cruises guests (subject to availability). There are also additional public lots available nearby. Please allow plenty of time for city traffic and finding parking.

How long is the dinner cruise?

The cruise lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

What time should I arrive?

The cruise begins boarding promptly 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to boarding to ensure a smooth cruising experience.

Is the cruise suitable for children?

Yes, the cruise is suitable for all ages. Plus, children ages 3 and under are admitted for free. Please note that children must be supervised by adults at all times.

Is there a dress code for the cruise?

Yes, the dress code is business casual. Please bring a light jacket or wrap. It may get a bit breezy on the outer decks.

Am I preassigned a seat?

As you board, your captain and marine crew will direct you to your deck. From there the host/hostess will show your party to your assigned table(s). Decks are never guaranteed to non-private groups. Seats are assigned based on needs and capacity for each cruise.

When does the dinner service begin?

Once the cruise embarks, so does your dinner.

Will I get my own table?

On the majority of cruises, private tables are assigned to the individual parties. However, on some cruises with cruise-style seating, you may be asked to share a table with other parties.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Guests should inform their server of allergies or dietary needs. Vegan and vegetarian options are available, but cross-contamination may occur. Consuming raw or undercooked ingredients may increase the risk of illness. Menus are subject to change.

Is the ship wheelchair or stroller accessible?

Yes, the yacht has limited wheelchair or stroller accessibility.

Are life preservers on board?

Yes, the vessel is 100% Coast Guard certified with life preservers and all required lifesaving equipment, including child life vests.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is allowed on the outside decks only. Please dispose of all refuse in proper receptacles. Do not throw anything into the water. Please follow all crew instructions regarding smoking. For your safety, smoking may not be allowed during your particular cruise at the discretion of the crew.

What happens if it rains?

Cruises embark rain or shine. Should it call for rain in the forecast, we recommend bringing an umbrella and light jacket. In the case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, the ship will remain dockside, but provide the full dining service.
