Description

One of Chicago's longest-running shows, Blue Man Group is a unique audiovisual experience—vibrant, colorful, and hilarious. Family-friendly and fabulously blue, this critically acclaimed show features innovative music and technology combined with good-humored social commentary.

After you’ve admired the black-light artwork and intimate setting of the Briar Street Theatre, find your seat and prepare for the rise of the curtain. Fueled by technological advances, this recently revamped show incorporates the "GiPad", a giant tablet that communicates with the silent trio.

Three bald, blue men lead you through a captivating multimedia journey filled with euphoric drumming, neon lighting, and paint splattering. Gladly follow them from the funny and intelligent to the riveting and thought-provoking. Equal parts innovative musical performance and introspective peeks into fast-paced philosophies, Blue Man Group celebrates culture, comedy, and, of course, the color blue.

Parking: Limited parking is available adjacent to the theater. Fees vary. To avoid delays, guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before show time.

Warning: Strobe lights are used during portions of the show. If you are sensitive to strobe lights, please alert the theater house manager when you arrive. Upon request, a staff member will help you leave the theater before strobe lights occur.

There’s a reason why this show has stood the test of multiple decades. It’s just fun and entertaining AND family friendly. The music (heavy in percussion of course) is also great. Lots of energy and fun vibes. And, it’s not uncomfortably loud (it’s loud but my ears weren’t ringing afterwards).
