This hotel was about 40 minutes from the airport but decently in the middle of lots of shops, etc. Everyone was friendly and kind. Our room was clean and I liked that we had a sitting area separate from the beds. The shower worked great and the water was nice and hot. I was here for a work conference. Everything was easily accessible. My only complaint is there is nowhere to eat at the hotel. A nice restaurant would be great to have onsite. I would also love vending machines. There are none! We had to walk across the street several times to get drinks.

Just wanted to thank Mr. Filatre and all the staff at The Hilton Chicago Suites for making our stay such a lovely one. My sister in law and I brought our sons to Chicago for the first time as a final summer break vacation. The location is great if you want to be close to the riverwalk but not too close (it was lollapalooza week and we didn't want to be too close to the park or the noise). The staff at the Hilton Suites went above and beyond, remember our names and making the stay such a special one. The surprised us with a lovely upgrade. The rooms are spacious, very clean, updated and had a lovely view of the water. It was nice having a microwave and refrigerator in the room to heat up leftovers. The club breakfast is amazing, great selection of hot and cold items and very kind wait staff. It made for a great start to each day before we went out to explore the city. They made fantastic recommendations to enjoy the pier and several other outings we would otherwise not have done. We found out it was Mr Filatre's last week before his retirement. Thank you for making our stay such a fantastic one. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Stayed At the Hilton on Delaware Place in Chicago. Why, You ask? We've always stayed at the London House but for some reason they were booked. Will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!! Caution to all-----Very dirty carpeting in the room, towels that could be used as rags and NO HOT shower in AM orPM. Very hot in the room and could not adjust the air conditioning. Went to breakfast the next morning and the chair at the table I was given was BROKEN. One positive: Most of the staff were very polite, friendly, however they were not in a position to rectify all of the problems. I am a Hilton Honors Member and I am questioning why I am. Think twice before booking.

Run, don't walk to a different hotel. There are SO many other, better options in the area. The service here is dreadful and the front desk personnel are not enabled to be able to problem solve--they have to take all issues to the shiftless ass.mgr Steven S. Austin who never comes out of his office. A good hotel has active, roaming managers who are walking the hotel and talking with customers, interacting with staff, etc. In waiting for our rideshare after check-out, we got to talking to other customers outside and we all agreed that this hotel does not warrant a return and that the ONLY employee who is worth a damn is the bellhop, Hussein. He should be running the place.
