Took my 11 year old son as a surprise date all the way from Tampa. When I get there they tell me he cannot do the intermediate race because he is not 12 years old. But online and EVERY WHERE inside the facility it says "Required 54" tall. RECOMMENDED minimum age: 12 years old." My son is 59" tall and he turns 12 in 2 months. I have had friends who came with their tall 9 year old and no problem. It is not REQUIRED that they be 12 years old. But no matter what, they insisted he had to be 12 years old. So they made me purchase a junior race ticket so they could "observe" him. He literally raced with 5 other 7 year olds who kept slamming into him (which is against the rules). No one watched him. I had to just find a guy outside to put in the computer that he was good to go. Then we had to stand in the long line again and purchase for him to do the intermediate race with me. But from the beginning they slowed his car down. Everyone passed him and he was only able to complete 7 of the 8 laps he was supposed to get. He never hit another car, never hit a wall (he couldn't! He was going at a crazy slow pace!). Worst experience ever. Worst customer service ever. Ruined a surprise date night with my son. Would never go back there again. Wasted my money on this place. I tried contacting corporate to discuss their "recommended age 12 years) but it is impossible to talk to corporate.
