Decent hotel with a good central location on I-Drive for where the majority of the action is. Stayed here a couple of times before too. Pools were clean and not overly busy when we were there. Water was extremely cold so assume it isn’t heated but I quite like it really cold so didn’t bother me. Shop sells a fair amount but isn’t cheap. We got a few bits from there. Staff in there were always very helpful and cheerful. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar. Thing I love about Rosen Hotels and the reason we always stay in them is because the air con works brilliantly. So many hotels where the air con doesn’t seem to cool the room down. No issues here. Rooms was always clean and tidy. That’s all we look for with the room as we are barely in it. Shower wasn’t great but did its job. We were in building 4 on 9th floor. Had a decent view of the I-4 which was very noisy at times and did wake us up so maybe ask to face I-Drive if you aren’t a good sleeper like me. Also one of the only hotels that doesn’t charge resort or parking fee. The gym is very small and was busy all the time when I went in. Previous visits it’s been empty but it was just as Spring Break was starting. Would stay here again for sure.

I have always championed this hotel as a great base on International Drive but on our 3rd visit to this hotel was disappointed. Had requested room facing pool in block A or B but this request was messed up and we ended up in G facing pool also Interstate 4, I asked if we could be moved and was told to come back the next day was eventually found a room in block A but was still facing I4 and helicopter tours had already wasted day of holiday so accepted but hardly slept for 2 weeks as light sleeper and noise was deafening at times. Rooms have also not been updated since the first time we visited 20 years ago and carpet smells bad. Will look for different hotel on next visit to Orlando.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel that felt like a potential scam, possibly orchestrated by some of the staff with the consent—or willful negligence—of the manager, Mike. On our second night, after spending the entire day out, we were barred from entering our room and accessing our belongings. The staff claimed there was damage in the room that required a $100 fee—a damage we did not cause. Naturally, we refused to pay and called the police, who, although courteous, informed us that the hotel gave us two options: either pay the $100 fee or leave the hotel without a refund for that night. In our desperation, we accepted the latter option. This forced us to book another hotel for the night at an extra cost of $190, further compounding our losses. Moreover, the hotel retained our entire security deposit, which has still not been refunded. Additionally, that morning we heard the fire alarm going off. We immediately contacted guest services, and the representative assured us that someone would be sent during the day to address the issue. It is certain that multiple individuals accessed our apartment to deal with the fire alarm problem. Later, we discovered that the alleged damage was a hole in the wall located directly beneath the fire alarm—raising the possibility that the hole might have been caused by the staff themselves. Please see the attached photo of the hole they expected us to pay for. I kindly ask that Rose Inn contact me directly so I can provide further details and help resolve this matter.

"Filthy rooms"

I’ve never write a review but feel I need to let people know of our experience in December. Have stayed here many times and as much as it’s dated we always had a pleasant time. We flew from Ireland and stopped in Boston where we got stranded for 2 nights. Finally got to Orlando and the travel agent had called to inform them of this delay. Tried to check in at reception on arrival and my god the girl was so rude. Tried to explain but she barely made eye contact and didn’t answer when I asked if there was any problem. Not a great start after being stressed from being delayed. Eventually got the keys to our three rooms. The rooms, my god they were filthy, dated and need to refurbished. The door was filthy on the outside, the door also opened without the key or then wouldn’t open with the key on many occasions, carpets were filthy and any socks we wore went into the bin as the dirt from the carpet was disgusting. The safe broke aswell and the lift was broken also. The bathroom, bath and toilet has dust or dirt on it when we arrived and the dust was still there when we left, I didn’t wipe it as I wanted to see if they were actually cleaning the rooms, which after 9 nights they just made the beds.tiles were coming off walls and hairdryer broken. Smell of must from the rooms was shocking. Smell of weed throughout the landings constantly and sick on the stairs not cleaned up for days. We had to move one room as there was a smell of sewage coming through bathroom vents. They cover the vent with masking tape and we had to move as the kids had nose bleeds and headaches from this. The same girl at check in barely listened to us and said oh ok sorry I’ll move you. Didn’t care how the kids were. Next room wasn’t any better as the kids got bit from sleeping in the beds or spider in room and were on three week antibiotics when we arrived home even though we cleaned the area daily. The staff in the coffee shop were so rude and ignored you until they stopped talking or just finished up what they were doing. Not even I’ll be with you in a minute just blanked us on a few occasions. The bar staff were so lovely and some of the staff in the lite bite were friendly but there were about 5 of them for the whole trip that were just rude. Overall our stay was ruined and the place is honestly not fit for human stay. As i said I’ve stayed here many times but it’s not as friendly as it use to be and the rooms need a total renovation before allowing anyone to stay in them. I honestly will never stay again I’m just raging I didn’t ring the travel agent to try move us to better accommodation. Rosen inn really needs to sort out rooms as there were so many people at reception daily complaining about smells, cockroaches, rooms unfit or stuff not working. It’s a shame the accommodation is no longer fit for public use as it’s always been a nice place to stay and great location

"Don’t assume that if you have a reservation you actually do!"

Had a reservation via a booking site for this property. Arrived and the front desk was horridly understaffed and the service was poor. Despite having a confirmation via a booking site they said they had no reservation for me. I showed them my confirmation number and the desk staff just shrugged. They offered no help no new reservation no referral to another of their properties and no apology. I had to scramble to find a room at another property which was hard as there were several conferences in town. I messaged the property via the booking site and was told 3 times that the mgmt would reach out to me. As of yet, I’ve heard nothing. I had several colleagues tell me they had the same thing happen at this property as well. All around a horrid experience and an unprofessional and untrustworthy hotel chain. Stay away!
