Hilton Orlando in Orlando, FL

Paige at the front desk was amazing! I hit a snag in my room and she was very efficient at figuring out a solution to my reservation. She exemplifies great customer service and a star member of the team. The hotel and rooms were clean and nice. Love that it’s connected to the convention center and look forward to many more stays here!

Had a great check-in experience when my flight was canceled and I had to stay an extra night. The resort itself is beautiful, the pool and lazy river not too cold, and it's a nice ambiance! Had great interactions with the front desk Fernando and really enjoyed a meal at the Fastabreak restaurant. Our waiter Phil was very attentive and kind.

Overall we had a great time at the Hilton Orlando for the second year in a row! Your staff is always very kind and approachable! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I would love to see more options for the TV, especially with many hotels and resorts moving to a more “streaming” TV system that allows you to log into your streaming services and/or stream from your phone. The only downfall to the rooms is the bathroom! The tub/shower combo is wonderful, but I do wish there was a bit more storage options in and wish the bathroom was brighter. The dining is amazing!! We missed the opening of TodoVos by a few days last year and couldn’t wait to try it this year! We ate there twice in 6 days! It was well worth the wait! The in room dining came quickly too! Fast Break is always a great go to for both sit down and take out! Plus Scratch Market has a good breakfast selection with a full coffee bar and pizza, burgers and sandwiches for lunch and dinner. I just wish there was a little more variety. And I love that they are 24 hours! The pool area was amazing too! I do love that your staff enforces the adult pool area! With me being a cheer coach and there for the competition, it was nice for your staff to truly enforce the adults only section! The pool bar and food were great as was the staff! I tried Eforea Spa for the first time, and I wish I had time to book a second massage! It was the best massage I’ve ever had! The staff was knowledgeable and made great recommendations! The wine and steam room were a great plus! Definitely looking to go back next year! Finally I love the convenience of the Orange County Convention Center being within walking distance. The North/South Building is super close to the hotel. It was basically a 7-10 minute walk from my room to the North/South Building. The west building is a bit further, but we had bussing provided by the cheer competition. But we had a couple parents walk and they said it was about 10-15 minute walk to the west building via the sky walk and a little longer on the ground. My only complaint that didn’t give this stay a 5/5 was due to housekeeping. And honestly I can’t really fully blame them. There were 2 days toward the end of our trip that we had no wash cloths in our room. The first night we called down to housekeeping and and asked for them. We got them like 3 hours later. The second night asked for them and never got them at all. Luckily we had people we were traveling with that had extras in their room, so it wasn’t a “big deal,” and the hotel was beyond busy, and probably at capacity with people from the cheer competition, dog show, and a wedding. But it was still a bit frustrating. I am truly looking forward to my stay here again!

My feelings about this hotel are quite mixed. On one hand, I’m very grateful that the front desk upgraded my room to a suite and accommodated my needs even after I checked out. （Special thanks to Derek and Giovana） That said, if you’re choosing a hotel for a trip to Universal Studios like I was, I wouldn’t strongly recommend this one for several reasons. First, while the room was generally clean, it felt really outdated. I wasn’t expecting smart features like controlling lights and AC via my phone, but the room didn’t even have enough wall switches for the lights. I had to manually twist the switches under the lamps to turn them on. Second, there were some frustrating details: the phone in my room was broken, the button to switch between the bathtub faucet and showerhead was faulty and could be pulled out completely, and there was no microwave in the room. I had to take the elevator from the 18th floor to the 12th to use the only communal microwave, and even the lightbulb in that room was broken, leaving it pitch black. These little issues added up to an overall unpleasant experience. Lastly, the first shuttle to Universal Studios departs at 7:25 AM, but it stops at another hotel along the way and doesn’t arrive at Universal until around 8:00 AM. The last return shuttle leaves at 8:00 PM, but since the fireworks show at Universal is at 10:00 PM, you’ll inevitably miss the shuttle if you want to watch the show. Additionally, the return shuttle was extremely crowded. I started lining up at 7:30 PM and barely managed to get on the bus, leaving around 20 people behind at the stop. On the return trip, the Hilton is the last stop, and the bus stops at six or seven other hotels along the way. If you board the bus around 8:00 PM, you won’t get back to the hotel until nearly 9:00 PM.

Love this hotel! Everyone is so helpful and the hotel is clean! We’ve been here many times over the years and the hotel is still up to great standards with excellent amenities. The gym is amazing and the poolside food service is amazing. Love taking a relaxing raft ride on the lazy river too!
