Description

The Runaway Branson Mountain Coaster is the first & longest alpine mountain coaster in Branson and the Ozarks.

This Alpine coaster is one of the most talked-about thrill rides in town with a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor and numerous Best of Branson accolades! It is also the foundation of the area’s newest outdoor attraction park, the Branson Mountain Adventure Park. This was so much fun!!!!!! Me and my daughter rode together, We wanted to go again but it start to rain.

Tip: The wait in line is just too long for a short ride.

"Pretty Great Until..."

This was my first trip on the coaster. The thrill of trekking.up the beautiful mountainside by way of train/pasenger car was pretty great. Until coming back to pay for our second ride was not a good experience at all. After arriving within about 30 minutes of closing, a ride that I thought would take about 15 mins, took much longer for a situation that could have been prevented.

This was so much fun. We went with 3 teenagers and they loved it so much they wanted to go again.

Tip: You have the ability to speed up or slow down. If there is a line it goes very fast.

What are the rider height and weight requirements?
Rider requirements for the Runaway Mountain Coaster are as follows:

A lone driver must be at least 9 years old and 52″ tall.
A passenger must be at least 3 years old and 36″ tall.
The maximum weight is 300 pounds.

These requirements are strictly enforced for the safety and security of all participants.

What safety regulations are in place?
All guests must adhere to safety rules:

Driver must be able to operate both brake levers.
Riders & drivers alike cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Stay at least 80 feet from the cart in front of you, 180 feet when wet.
Seat belts must remain latched until directed by the ride attendant.
Drivers who rear end the cart in front of them are responsible for all damages.

How do I control the cart?
To control the coaster cart, push the lever forward to go and back to brake. Follow all instructions and you’ll be good to go. Remember to always keep your hand on the brake lever.

Is this ride appropriate for all ages?
