Located in Northern California's famed Napa Valley an hour north of San Francisco, Silverado Resort is a captivating Four Diamond spa and golf resort set on 1,200 rolling acres with oak-lined roads and fairways, and surrounded by vineyards. This world-class destination resort offers PGA championship golf, a deluxe spa experience, fine dining, and endless recreational opportunities.

A legendary California landmark for over 150 years, the Silverado Resort originally began as a private estate. The historic Mansion at Silverado Resort was built in the early 1870's as the residence of General Miller. Silverado Resort opened as a semi-private golf club in 1955 and as a full-service resort in 1966.

The upscale Silverado Resort features over 100 guest rooms, 228 suites, two PGA championship 18-hole golf courses, three outdoor swimming pools, nine recently resurfaced Plexipave tennis courts, three pickleball courts, and a 16,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. Additional features include the Grill restaurant, Mansion Bar, and 70,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event and activity space.

Resort fee: A $40 plus tax resort fee is charged nightly, collected upon arrival. This fee includes internet, self-parking, main resort pool, fitness center, in-room Keurig coffee and tea, 800 and local Napa calls, tennis court fees, and golf bag storage.

The Spa at Silverado's facilities and amenities are available for all registered resort guests ages 16 years or older and include access to the sauna, steam room, whirlpool, locker lounges and lap pool for a daily fee of $40.

Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted. However, ADA-defined service animals and emotional support animals are welcome. Please make a note when booking your reservation if you are traveling with a service animal. Guests with service animals will need a downstairs unit.

Parking: Complimentary self-parking is available for cars and motorcycles. RVs or any oversized vehicles are not permitted. Valet parking is not available.

Amazing staff every where on property, starting with Front Desk, Bellman took our luggage and us to our rooms, The Grill restaurant had amazing food along with friendly waiter. Mornings we enjoyed The Market for Starbucks coffee, pastries and burritos, afternoon we enjoyed delicious sandwiches. Several visits to jacuzzi in main pool area.

Once you get checked in which took FOREVER the stay is adequate and nothing to write home about! The grounds are quite nice and the food at the grill is outstanding!! Lots of very young Hispanic women cleaning staff and not a word of English. What’s up with that? Where are they from? Not cool and mostly annoying. Rooms are dated but quiet and comfortable. That’s all she wrote.

It is a nice resort; (on the surface)…but a tad outdated. For a luxury resort, why not have a Nespresso machine in the rooms rather than a Kuerig? Also, my room was one flight up with no elevator. Also, it is in the heart of Napa, and the wine list is so short…does that make sense? The food is quite good as well as the service. However, the front desk personnel need some training. I asked if they had a FedEx box; “sorry, we don’t do FedEx!” The night before, I was told to request a box in the morning from security. The messaging is not consistent. The entertainment center (aka TV) is outdated. On the plus side; plenty of hot water in the shower. Filtered water is available, and metal bottles are provided. And the food is really quite good as mentioned.

Beautiful resort with great amenities for tennis and swimming. On-site Grille restaurant and pizza at The Market offered delicious food. The only issue was with the water pressure in one of the cottages (poor pressure overall in shower). The front desk manager was helpful in addressing our concerns at checkout. Will return again.

I never write reviews, but after the dinner my family and I had, it would be a disservice not to. My parents were in town visiting, and decided to stay at the Silverado Resort, per recommendation from their friends. My husband and I met them for dinner at the Mansion bar. We were promptly greeted and seated. My mom and I ordered a cocktail that Lala recommended. It was so good we both had to order a second one, and I have still been dreaming of it ever since. I can’t remember what it was called, but I will definitely be going back and hopefully Lala is there to make it for us again. She also recommended the smash burger, which was absolutely delicious. I was so full I couldn’t finish it, but my husband devoured the few bites I had left. We left full and happy. The property was beautiful and the staff was so pleasant, we debated getting a room, even though we live nearby. We will be booking for a staycation, or at the very least, be back for that cocktail.
