"Corpus Christi-Such a disappointment and Waste of money"

We did the Corpus Christi tour. First of all, I want to say I feel bad for the tour guide. He was just a kid doing his best and he started the tour out by saying that was the first one he had ever done. I’ve done several ghost tours in Galveston and San Antonio and they were amazing. This was not a ghost tour. We literally walked a few yards to where the historic houses are in a park at Corpus Christi and if you’ve ever been there, you know where I’m talking about. He pretty much read verbatim from his notecards what was already on the historical markers and then added in there was a ghost sighting here. Then we walked several blocks up to the old abandoned courthouse and looked at it for about 10 minutes and he proceeded to say OK well we can walk to the cemetery but we have to stand outside the gate or we can end the tour. Tour was supposed to be two hours long. It started at 10 after eight and it ended at 9:15. This was supposed to be a fun activity for my teenage nieces and it failed miserably. I cannot believe that a company would feel comfortable charging for what we did that night. If there’s no content in the history of Corpus Christi for ghost walk, then there shouldn’t be a tour taking peoples money. I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to waste their money like we did. The most exciting part was the dogs that live at the garage next to the fire department that came to greet us. Save your money do not do this. I did get one good picture of the courthouse with clouds that’s about it.
