The room was very nice, however the sofa bed was terrible. I am not sure who can actually have a good nights sleep on that skinny mattress that you can actually feel all the springs. Whit how much the rooms are a better mattress should be avail!!

Very loud, thousands of birds 2/3 nights. Overpriced for outdated hotel. Room window was off track so much, heavy wind through room. Good: housekeeping staff was great, hot, FREE, continental breakfast was good, plenty of waffle irons! Great front desk help!!

We stayed a night here at the UIL state championships, Emmanuel was fantastic helping me load my car and my handicap fathers scooter. The whole hotel staff were very friendly! Clean hotel room. Great breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

As the coordinator of a 7th grade academy, I arrived yesterday in advance of 150 students and over 30 chaperones with a car stacked full--trunk, back seat, and passenger seat--of cased of water, boxes of chips, and other snacks. My goal was to check us in on our reservation and stage our dinner (pizza to be delivered later) prior to the arrival of the students and chaperones. Not only did La Quinta Riverwalk offer their Fiesta ballroom to stage our check in and dinner (THANK YOU!), BUT also... Valet attendants, Emmanuel, Jay, and Jerry, graciously offered--without me asking--to help me unload and set up the ballroom. With a friendly and conversational demeanor, we talked football--I was wearing my Green Bay Packers cap--as they loaded, pushed, and helped me unload 3 hotel carts stacked with said items above into the ballroom. I commend these young men and thank them for their helpfulness. They probably saved me upwards of an hour of setup time had I had to do it all myself. Emmanuel, Jay, and Jerry helped make my entire group's experience at this hotel better. Thank you, guys! Thank you, La Quinta Riverwalk!
