Great value for the money. The place was kept up very well and was centrally located to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. The room was nice and it was great to have a full breakfast buffet. However, I would just add that they should not put any salt in the scrambled eggs ahead of time. It was a decent free breakfast.

We had a hot meal every day plus fruits and beverages! Many of the more high end hotels made our sister associates pay for everything!! Staff was very accommodating! I would return to this location as it in a central spot to tourist attractions.

You have to pay $34 to SELF PARK and the hotel is NOT on the riverwalk. it's about a 3-5 min walk to the riverwalk. staff is HORRIBLE. rooms did not appear to be cleaned thoroughly at all, we found used towels in the sofa bed, hair in my bed and I had just checked in and not even unpacked! Don't expect hospitality or a great attitude from staff!

I’m a little bit torn about this place. The $32 self parking fee was pretty ridiculous. I’ve never had to pay for parking at a La Quinta before and I’ve traveled all around the country. When I checked in, I was upgraded to a bigger room at no extra charge and staff was super friendly, so that somewhat made up for it. The room was comfortable and spaceous. There was a nice view of the city from the 9th floor. The shower had plenty of hot water. No complaints about the room itself. I stopped by the bar and they had some really great happy hour specials. The only other thing that wasn’t great was that one of the elevators was down in the morning. There was a huge group of people waiting to go up, so I just took the stairs. I’m not sure many other people would be okay with walking up and down nine flights of stairs. Overall, the place was nice, but parking was just too expensive. I guess you could say the room rate was reasonable enough to offset it, but I would have had least liked to see discounted parking for diamond level rewards members, like myself.

Great Hotel, Needs better water pressure for shower, Great staff, Great Breakfast, Centrally located around great things to do. Walking preferred since close to most things. If eating breakfast waking up early is preferred, don’t wait to go.
