We ran the upper and middle sections of the Ocoee. This is a great river, but NOC's total professionalism makes it even better (and safer). From the equipment to the raft guides to the personnel at the outpost, NOC does it right every time. I have rafted every major river in the southeast over the last four decades, and I always choose NOC if I am on a river they run. You should, too.

"Ocoee day trip"

This is the second time we have done the combo trip on the Ocoee with NOC. Both times were great fun. Ellen was our guide 3 years ago, and this year we were lucky enough to have Debbie Sue. Literally could not compliment them enough. The whole team is great, but the guide in the boat makes the day. NOC runs a very safe and professional trip. We have done quite a few trips on rivers in the area, and we always choose NOC as our guides. I highly recommend rafting with them.

We rafted the Upper and Middle Ocoee with Kyle! He was well equip to explain each rapid and what to do in case you got bounced out at every one. We chose the spicy version on the trip and man did he deliver. We had tons of questions throughout the trip and he held conversations with us very well. The lunch between the two courses was perfect for the day and a spot for dinner after was recommended to us. This was a great way to celebrate my son graduating and we will definitely be back! Thank you NOC and Kyle!

As always, a NOC rafting trip is first-class! Our guide, Henry, was fantastic (lots of deliberately bad jokes, lol) made the trip fun and exciting. The pre-trip info session was on point and clear. The Ocoee is class 3 & 4 rapids. We did the Middle Ocoee trip and next time with do the longer Upper Ocoee trip. All of the staff were professional, welcoming, and very nice. Good changing room/restroom areas. Henry's recommendation for food (Dam Deli) was spot-on too, so thanks! :) Highly recommend the Ocoee and NOC in general.

"“The only outfit I trust….”"

If you’re rafting the Ocoee, you have about 23 outfits to put your trust in: Each and every trip, I’ve put my trust in NOC. They’ve been rafting here since the beginning, and their approach to safety, is at the forefront. Trust me, you will notice other rafting companies wedged upon rocks, or caught in a hydraulic, which is dangerous, or even carrying their raft through the bushes(one group took a wrong turn this weekend). Though these events can happen with any outfit, NOC seems to be the most consistent in avoiding them, imho…. This weekend, we chose the full day trip, which includes the upper section(home of the 96’ Olympics), and the middle, which is the most rafted section of river in the country. The upper starts out calm, but finishes very strong; while the middle section consists of ongoing 2-4 class rapids. Both are fun in their own way, but perfect when combined. There’s lunch served beachside at the halfway point. Though it’s only sandwiches, snacks, chips, and Gatorade, it’s much welcomed after a good workout. Everyone knows, luck is everything when being assigned a guide: the better the guide, the better the trip. This trip we hit the jackpot, with a lovely young Georgia girl named Chloe. She was knowledgeable and professional, but most of all, she was fun. Our group of 6, including men, and 3 teen boys, probably wasn’t the easiest to deal with, but she handled everything we threw at her, and with ease. We asked for an exhilarating trip, and she delivered just that. We couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend her as your guide. As mentioned, you could choose from a multitude of rafting companies, while rafting the Ocoee; but for me, it’s always an easy choice: I recommend NOC for each and every rafting trip, from the Ocoee to the Nantahala….

The river, the guides, the picnic was all 5 stars. We highly recommend and will return to NOC in the future! Thanks Caleb!!!
