Moose Mountain Adventure Golf Mall of America, Bloomington, MN

Came here Monday to play for the first time. It was about 30 minutes after they opened, and it was not terribly busy just yet. The staff member at the counter was nice enough. They only had one size putter which I thought was odd, but we aren't picky. The course, we thought, overall, was quite challenging. The views of Nickelodeon Universe were super cool. Fun to see the whole park from that vantage point. While we did enjoy our time, there were a few improvements that could be made to give it 5*. The course itself could use a serious cleaning. The murals were caked in dust that was obvious to anyone looking. The fake plants throughout looked sad and could use sprucing up. Adding music that fit the theme would also add something to the ambience of the course. There were speakers placed throughout, but either they forgot to put the music on, or something was malfunctioning with the sound system. Missed opportunity there. As other reviews have noted, the set-up is quite cramped at times, and you feel as though you are right on top of the other group ahead of you. This was definitely a major design flaw in the course. They should have made the course 9 holes, and instead expanded on each hole. There are benches to sit on while waiting, but some are in the middle of the hole, making them awkward to use while other groups are there. We made an effort to give the groups in front of us space and timed it, so we weren't all butted up against each other. I can see where this may get frustrating at times if not everyone around you senses this intention. Make sure you aren't in a rush when you come to play and go in knowing to give the groups ahead space.

This was amazing! The course was themed and that great obstacles. It was the perfect thing to do between look at the stores.

If you enjoy playing mini golf, this is a must do at least once when you visit Mall of America. It's one of the most popular places to visit in the mall. Every hole is a unique challenge and it is so thrilling when you get a hole-in-one. The only way to win a free game is to get your ball in the center hole on the 18th hole. They also challenge you to find Bigfoot. Each hole is the same, but each time is a new challenge to try and score a hole-in-one, or get your ball in with the amount of strokes for each hole. We had a blast and would do it again if we ever get back to visit. Enjoy the mall and all it has to offer.
