The kids enjoyed the rides. They had a lot of fun seeing Lola the Doll. The food prices are ridiculous but other than that it’s a good place to take kiddos.

"Disappointing visit other than the Night Ranger concert"

This place is pretty disappointing. First off, we had a coupon for $10 off. They would not honor the coupon on the senior rate. They said we were already getting a $10 discount. Wrong! We paid the regular senior price + nowhere on the coupon did it say it was only valid on a regular adult ticket. How do they, in good conscience, charge full price when half the attractions are closed...or maybe not. At least one attraction was listed as closed, but was actually open. As others have mentioned, the lazy river being closed is absolutely ridiculous. I was in line for two different water slides, when right when I got to the top of the tower, they shut the slides with no explanation. I think it was because the person working at the bottom, shift was over and they just left. Signage is awful. Not enough directional signs to let you know where anything is. Finally, this place is the worst as far as ride loading speed. It took a crazy amount of time to get the next group onto whatever ride. If you're only going to run one train at a time (ex: Big, Bad John), at least get people on and off the ride quickly. My guess is that most, if not all, of these issues are the result of the park not being willing to hire enough staff to keep everything running smoothly. Night Ranger was excellent as always.

We went on a day when it was to be 100 degrees and that may have accounted for the smaller crowd. We did the theme park rides first and there were no lines at all. Generally there were no lines at all throughout the day. A couple rides were not operating (this is the case every time we go) but generally the rides we wanted to ride were working. The water park side was also good. The food prices are higher as expected. Overall we were there the entire day and had a good time as the humidity was not bad and there was a nice breeze.

So disappointing! Log ride was closed, that was bad but the LAZY RIVER was closed!!! They told us it’s posted on their website but I couldn’t find it on my phone! Who checks a computer these days before going to a water park expecting to float the lazy river of all things. Being older we don’t ride many rides. We enjoy the lazy river. We had our grandchildren with us for the trip and they used the splash pad.
