Good To Know

Experience two flights in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel, lasting 60 seconds each—similar to the 45-second freefall portion of an actual skydive!
The total experience lasts about 1.5 hours, inclusive of a training session and hands-on assistance from a certified and trained flight instructor.
Flyers must not exceed 300lbs. Participants weighing 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff.
Wear casual clothes and well-fitting lace-up sneakers or running shoes—you'll wear a flight suit over your clothes.
The goggles are large enough to be worn over eyeglasses.
If you have long hair, please secure your hair in a braid or a low bun to fit the helmet.
Flying is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, head, neck, back, or shoulder injury, or have a heart condition.
Ages 3 and up are welcome. Flyers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign their flight waiver.

Conveniently located just off I-75 less than 15-minutes from downtown, this cutting-edge iFLY facility uses superior and unique technology; multiple fans located at the top of the flight chamber produce a wall-to-wall airflow that is smooth and fun to fly in. The air flow is totally controllable. This, combined with professional instructors, makes for the most exciting flight experience possible.

At iFLY Tampa, you will learn how to fly your body in a controlled manner with the assistance of your instructor. "Paid full price but got less than half of the services"

Purchased two 4 Flight Packages with pic and videos for my daughter and I, on her Birthday. We were only given 2 Flights a piece. because we were placed with another group of 2 flight people. Then none of the vouchers for the videos and pics worked. I called the store for help 3 times, and no one can resolve the issue. I'm on day 5. daughter I still asking for the video, and they have moved on. disappointment. You need to keep track of your own flights because they just aren't good at that stuff and you need to make sure your vouchers work before you leave. I would just go somewhere else.

"Happy Anniversary!!"

We took the opportunity of our Great governor Ron DeSantos keeping Florida flying high to do the same. For our 11th anniversary we flew ! From the time we walked in, it was easy to feel the total professionalism. XANDER was fantastic. Our group was classroom instructed answering everyone's question. He made everyone flight ready. Our group consisted of a petite girl of about 50 lbs. to me at 180. Xander had all in our group flying successfully! We highly recommend this adventure!

"Anniversary Fun"

My husband and I went to IFly for our anniversary and had a blast! We had Anthony as our instructor and he was awesome! A lot of fun, funny, and is an excellent skydiver. He was very helpful when we were the tunnel and felt safe as we flew. Everyone at this place was welcoming and you can tell they are all very passionate about flying. As for the flying we can’t believe how much fun it was and how just tiny little moments can move you from up, down, and side to side. It was very peaceful which isn’t what we thought, but also an adrenaline rush. We bought another pass to go back and can’t wait to go again.

"Cool and unique experience "

My boyfriend and I were looking for a little something to do that wouldn’t be dependent on the weather. Making reservations and payment on line was super easy and we did all forms online as well, so check in at the location was a breeze. As other reviewers have commented this is a pricey experience, but it is very unique to actually feel like flying. Our instructor, Alex, was great and clearly qualified. His focus was safety but he also made it super fun. Will be going back for sure. A very unique and fun experience!

"Beware of sneaky up-sale tactic"

My boy and his 2 friends had fun on his birthday visit. They all said it was a great experience. However, I was asked twice at sign-ins if I wanted to pay $15 extra to have the boys float high up the cylinder. I declined the offer. During the flight, the instructor pointed his finger up, which the boys were instructed meant raise your chin. Instead the instructor was asking the teens if they wanted to float high. By raising their chins, I suppose the instructor interpreted that head movement as consent. The boys got to soar high. After the session, and after I tipped the instructor, I was told I owe $15 per teen plus tax for soaring high. I explained that I declined the offer at check-in. As I was explaining that I clearly declined the offer, one of the teens paid to avoid a scene. I objected but was only offered an apology for the miscommunications. Be aware of this up-sale tactic. I can't believe I am the only one who has been confused, as the instructor indicated I was.

Interesting but expensive even for the double length of two minutes. Most of the staff were friendly and polite. Unfortunately, luck of the draw our “instructor”, Anthony, was rather rude. Tried calling for two days to redeem special offer. The main number people couldn’t redeem special offers and the Tampa location was never available and never called back. To many other cool things to do in the area to bother with this one again.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience. This was our first time but definitely not our last. The instructor was amazing. We had a great time and bought another 10 flights to bring family to try it. Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful and wanted us to enjoy our experience. Great job!!!
