"Great hotel"

The hotel is nice and close to river walk where all the restaurants and cafes are located, it’s about 15 min walk if you like to walk . The room is clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were nice and hard working to accommodate busy crowd for breakfast. The hotel has coffee and tea station all day in the lobby which really helped and the station has flavoured cream - vanilla and hazelnut which was a plus to have. The outdoor swimming pool is so nice and has fire pit for warmth during winter time. it has nice seating and view of the city, the pool water is heated which was great during January . Also the hotel has 2 stations of filtered fountains to refill your water bottle so you don’t have to buy bottled water - thanks to the front desk staff who pointed this out to me. The best part of the stay is the front desk staff- it started with Lashawn who was so helpful answering my text messages before arrival and she provided great customer service during the stay. The hotel cannot be ran without captain T ( yes her name is Captain T) and her best sense of humour. She is so helpful and a nice person to talk to while entering or exiting the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel when you visit tampa.

Terrible experience at the front desk with a very rude girl named Mickey. Absolutely terrible customer service and awful interaction, especially for customers with diamond status to be treated. Do not recommend. Asked to speak to a manager and was told that none was on premises.

A big plus for this hotel - we arrived off our cruise ship at 10.30 am and did not expect access to our room till the afternoon. Yet our room was ready and we were able to gain access immediately. It made a huge difference to our time in Tampa. The room overlooked the pool area and was clean and spacious. Fridge and microwave and stove tops available to hire at reception. Bed was comfortable and shower was large. Front desk staff were approachable and always very helpful. Coffee in the reception area was always warm and drinkable. There was also a bbq area by the pool if you wanted to use, and a fire pit area for the cold nights!! Situated about ten minutes from a street car stop and fifteen minutes walk from the riverfront, with bars and a supermarket very close this hotel is highly recommended, especially if you are getting on/off a cruise ship.

My wife and I flew into Tampa the day before our cruise and spent the night at this wonderful hotel which is located within easy walking distance of the cruise ports and aquarium. We arrived around 10 AM before normal check-in time but the staff had no problems with us dropping off our luggage. After we went back later in the day to check in we found our room was clean and comfortable. We were able to use the app on our phone as a digital key which was a nice feature. The bathroom was clean but it did take a couple minutes to get hot water to our shower. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the city view from our room was great. Our breakfast in the morning was one of the best free or included breakfasts we have had. The hotel also offered a free shuttle to the cruise port which was very convenient. We would absolutely stay here again.

Best place to stay in the channel side district. Very close to the cruise port and many restaurants within walking distance. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. We had arrived early and expected to just drop off our luggage and go exploring, instead the clerk gave us a room that was all ready so checked in and went to our room which was very clean and comfortable.
