The woman I checked in with was too notch. I believe her name was Denise. She was kind, friendly, helpful, and she made a connection. She offered dining suggestions and was nothing short of an utter delight. The room was pretty basic, no bells or whistles, but after being there a night the things I noted were more than just slightly annoying. The ceiling fan only has one setting: turbo wind fan. When I tell you that thing creates wind, I mean it will dry your eyes and throat out and make you wake up shivering and coughing. I called the front desk to see if there was something I was missing as to how to adjust the ceiling fan, Denise offered to send up maintenance the following morning. I was only staying one night so that wasn’t necessary, and unfortunately there is no remote, or other speeds to adjust it. Just turbo wind speed. I didn’t sleep great and kept waking up hot, turning on the fan, and woke up freezing. Take your pick. There was no alarm clock in the room. Not a huge deal, I have a watch and a phone, but when you awake in the middle of the night and want to know the time, you’re left looking at your phone which I try not to do at night. The water pressure in my shower (room 314) was terrible. I’m pretty tall for a woman (5’10”) and often hotel showers have a low shower head making showering a hunched over affair. This was not the case here, the shower head was plenty high, however the pressure was just short of a light dribble which made even rinsing soap off my body very difficult. Also there were dirty towels left hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and inside a bathroom drawer from the previous guest which was sort of gross. Finally, I don’t know if this was an intentional design choice (which I’m guessing not) or a previous guest removed them, but the lamps throughout the room didn’t have finales on top, securing the lampshade. This is such a slight thing but each time I went to turn on a lamp, (and there are a lot of lamps in the room, at least 4) I knocked a shade off. Again, not a huge deal, but weird and annoying. When you’re waking in the middle of the night to find the switch to turn off the crazy cold wind making fan, and you knock a lamp shade off the lamp because a $2 part isn’t there, it’s a middle of the night annoyance I could have done without.

Hot water was not hot enough in shower. Refrigerator made a knocking sound all night. I complete the clerk morning of Jan11. Hopefully they make the repairs. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Price is reasonable and room was clean. Breakfast was sub par.

I can't think of anything to improve. This hotel deserves a 10 or of 10! Specifically the welcome by Bruce and Alexandra (Miss Alex) After a long drive the welcome was extremely profession. Also I picked up some additional flyers from the Commemorative Air Force in San Marcus and they encouraged me o place them on sites where future guests can view and make the 20 minute drive to see extremely historical air craft. Also the breakfast was top shelf. I want to point out Omar who was almost like Radar from Mash. He could tell you what you needed almost before you asked. I encourage to single these three individuals and tell the our thanks. Oh yes the rooms and staff were also top shelf! Advertisement will get you there....Service will bring you back. WE WILL BE BACK!

Once we arrived the bathroom faucet was completely broken. Opened the drawer in the bathroom and someone left a used face towel. Used soap bar and used tissue paper. We reported it next morning to front desk and asked the hotel front desk to report the situation to the supervisor. Front desk made a request to have faucet repaired. Came back in the afternoon. Faucet is still broken. And drawer not cleaned out. This is unacceptable. We were not taken seriously we feel.

Room was clean, well stocked, and front desk staff very polite and helpful! Breakfast was full of great items, served in a pleasant manner. Dining room staff was keeping tables cleared, cleaned ,and items stocked. The only negative was I wasn't aware of a $25 damage deposit when I made the reservation! Deposit was returned but I feel it should be communicated when a reservation is made
