"Worst Experience Ever- no lies told"

0/10 do not recommend this establishment. We traveled for our Spring Break. The park was over capacity therefore making ride time waits over 2 hours. The only way you are able to ride is to spend the extra $200 PER TICKET for a fast pass. They INTENTIONALLY overpack the park to drive revenue. When in line for the rides, they let all the fast pass users go, no ratio of fast pass people to regular line per ride turn. Absolutely the worst part of our vacation. The kids were so discouraged, $600 for tickets and not one ride were they able to get on in 4 hours. Will NEVER do that again. Wasted money.

"Rides Shutting Down"

We were only able to ride, one ride because whenever we got in a line we would wait 30 minutes then they told us they were shutting it down. This was a waste of an afternoon we came to the park for about 3 and a half hours and went on one ride. Even the marry go around had problems. On top of all this we saw someone get taking away by a rescue vehicle.

We’ve been to Six Flags Fiesta Texas more times than I can count — spring, summer, Fright Fest, Holiday in the Park — and every time, I leave with two things: a full heart... and a significantly lighter wallet. But, if you’re parenting multiple kids (hi from my squad of five from 8 to 13), you already know: when you find a theme park that works for everyone? You keep going. Let’s start with the rides: Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger is the newest obsession in our house. And rightfully so — it’s smooth, terrifying, and gives major villain origin story energy. Iron Rattler is the true family MVP — thrilling without being brutal, a mix of wood-and-steel magic that keeps us coming back. Superman Krypton Coaster? That one’s mine. All airtime, no apologies. And it's soooo smooth. The park itself? Shockingly manageable. It’s not sprawling like some other parks that feel like cardio punishment in disguise. This one’s mostly flat (a blessing if you’re pushing a stroller or just pushing 50), and it’s laid out in a way that keeps you oriented. Seasonal Events = Worth It! Fright Fest hits the perfect “spooky but not scarring” balance. Holiday in the Park is genuinely magical — lights everywhere, seasonal snacks, burning wood smell in the air... and even the tweens are impressed. But now... the food. Yikes. Park food here is shockingly expensive. Like, second-mortgage-for-nachos expensive. And drinks? Let’s just say hydration shouldn’t cost $9 and a beer $17. We’ve learned to either: Eat a huge meal before arrival (we generally cook a big breakfast before making the 1.5 hour drive from Austin). And/or we leave mid-visit (your ticket allows re-entry) and hit one of the many nearby restaurants just outside the park. Cheaper, better, and frankly… quieter. A moment to relax without the natural excitement inside of a theme park. It's a reset for everyone, frankly. Pro Workcation Tip: If you’re mixing business and bleisure like I do, Fiesta Texas can be a perfect family break in the middle of your San Antonio conference schedule. A few rides, some snacks, and your keynote stress melts right off. Until Dr. Diabolical drops you 150 feet straight down. Six Flags is not Disney. It’s not trying to be. But, Fiesta Texas is fun, fast, and just big enough to feel like a day well spent — without needing a recovery day afterward. Would we go again? We already have the next trip on the calendar. And the one after that too.

I want to state that our home park is in New England. We have not been to any other Six Flag park except for the one in NE, so my comparison will be against said park. My kids loved this park. From the moment you walk in you can fell and see the difference between both parks. Fiesta Texas has a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. The facilities look more updated and better kept than those in NE. There are a lot less closed kiosk, attractions and buildings. I believe that only a couple of rides were very similar if not the same as in NE. Prices are maybe slightly lesser than in NE, but that could also be a regional/State thing. They ran out of food in some places and the drink offering was limited in others, but I don't know if this had to do with bad logistics or due to maintenance issues. We spent all day at the park and we were all exhausted.
