The staff was very nice and the hotel extremely clean. I was in an end room so was expecting to hear little amount of noise. However, I could hear the person in the room behind me snoring in the middle of the night! I had to play soft music when I went to bed because the same room had the TV so loud I could sleep. And I could hear people above me walking. This was all 5 nights of my stay. Hotels should put more sound proofing insulation in the walls if these hotels.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in April 2024. We were totally amazed at this hotel experience. Being seasoned travelers, we notice cleanliness, thoughtfulness, friendliness and professionalism. The Homewood Suites in Livermore, CA deserve an exceptional rating in all these categories. Upon our arrival and checking in, we were equally impressed. The front desk person was very patient and pleasant in spite of our grumpiness brought on by travel fatigue. We were given our choice of room type and room location. Once in our room, we collapsed in the most comfortable and clean bed. This room experience was repeated throughout our stay. Everything about the room was neat, organized and refreshing. As we encountered various hotel staff members during our stay, our every need was anticipated with thoughtfulness and friendliness. At first, we were a little leery of their attention, but over the three days we came to realize this is just an exceptionally well-run hotel. For instance, at the great breakfast, if we looked a little confused someone was there to help find what we were looking for. Even brought some food to our table for us. The staff were constantly testing for our satisfaction and offering suggestions on where to go and what to see. The hotel has a variety of great facilities such as swimming pool, fitness center, and outdoor patio with a barbeque grill. Nearby there is a great retail outlet center and public transportation to San Francisco. You will also be within driving distance to the Napa Valley. The Homewood Suites is definitely the place to enjoy a fantastic experience.

So pleased with our stay here! First Pleasanton is such a nice area. But this hotel is close to the freeway and outlets, yet very quiet. You didn’t worry about your car being broken into. Breakfast had nice variation everyday which we loved. The managers reception is only Wednesday but a nice welcome. One night a car alarm went off in the parking lot. We watched a staff member investigate and figure out who the vehicle belonged to and managed for get it stopped. Staff was wonderful and we will absolutely stay again.

This has been a truly delightful stay! The staff was communicative of all important information during check-in and we were greeted by a clean and well-equipped suite. The beds were some of the comfiest we've experienced, the kitchen had all we needed and more (SS appliances - fridge, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, sink; in addition to dishes, utensils, and dish soap). Breakfast each morning has been wonderful as well! Traditional breakfast items are served as well as a rotating menu and some fun additional options. So far, we've enjoyed oatmeal with a variety of toppings, a waffle bar, fruit salad, a build-your-own parfait station, cereal, and baked goods. The rotating hot breakfasts have included potatoes, pancakes, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs (two topping options - one meat-based, and one vegetarian). For beverages, we enjoyed the selection of apple juice, orange juice, as well as tea (a selection of Bigelow Tea bags and hot water) and coffee (regular and decaf available), which the staff attentively kept hot. Coffees and teas could be dressed with your choice of sweetener and creamers (my choice was raw sugar). The only possible improvement we could think of would be to label according to dietary restriction (vegan, and vegetarian) but it was easy to figure out and staff members were never far in case we had a question. Additional notes - Indoor and outdoor eating spaces were available, and the hotel's location was conveniently nearby to a premium shopping outlet with many stores and restaurants (a Starbucks in walking distance), and it was a quick and easy drive to other parts of Livermore as well.

I really love this hotel especially since I have to come out here almost once every two months for two weeks. Having a kitchen is a huge plus and rooms are just really really nice. The reason for the three stars is the past two stays I’ve come to my room one time at 1:30 in the morning to find that the room is not clean. This past time I took a video and showed it to the manager and explained this is the second time in a row this has happened. She was very unconcerned with the situation and blamed it on a glitch. With no effort to make it right I was in a one bedroom, king-size, and now in 2 bed queen size other than that the staff here are really nice, everyone seems to be happy. Maybe I got the manager on a bad day.
