"Location Location Location"

Stating the facts: Booked the Homewood Suites simply because of the location, even after reading through previous reviews about the tired shape of the hotel. The location is exceptional and offers quick access to freeways, outlet shopping, restaurants and of course Six Flags, AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. We were attending a Dallas Cowboys game and were unsure of available parking so we chose this hotel to walk to the game, which was perfect. As for the hotel, it's showing its age with many bumps and bruises, stained carpets, old appliances, and stained and torn patio furniture. The price per night mid week was higher than it should have been for this level of hotel and it certainly didn't live up to the Hilton standard. The complimentary breakfast had only yogurt and fruit that was gluten friendly and when I asked, the attendant was unaware of what gluten free food was. Very sad in this day and age. I will say, the fitness facility was excellent with clean and relatively new equipment. We knew what we were getting into and as long as you do, you'll be OK. Don't think it's going to be different until they start advertising that the hotel is under renovation!

"Nice place to stay"

Nice hotel. Took my daughter and her friends to see a concert at Globe Life Field and chose Homewood due to its proximity to the stadium and price. We had two suites which were large, comfortable and clean. Location of hotel is close and convenient to all the major highways and tourist attractions. Upon check-in I had a small snafu with payment of the 2nd room and had to pay more. However, the manager was cheerfully able to get it all taken care of the next day and get the money refunded. Staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was the standard hotel free breakfast. Sufficient to get your day started. My only complaints are the $15.00 per day charge to park in the hotel parking lot (parking lot was not gated, nor a garage), and the hallway carpets either needed a good cleaning or new carpet. I would stay at this hotel again.

"Perfectly fine"

The hotel is a little run down- no doubt the result of its proximity to Six Flags. Wear and tear will show quickly when your clientele is families with kids. The front desk guy was perfectly pleasant, the elevator worked fine, the rooms were clean, we had plenty of bedding and towels, breakfast was fine. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE "

I do not normally write public reviews but after this experience I felt like this was necessary. This was the most horrible hotel experience we’ve ever had! Hilton prices for worse than Motel 6 quality. First off, the latch for our room door was completely broken and the deadbolt would not fully engage. Next we noticed the kitchen countertops had not been cleaned, sticky food still on surface. Full kitchen room with NOT ONE utensil. THE MATTRESS…DISGUSTING!!! Stains, stains, stains. We had two towels for three people for a three night stay. I say this because after our first night, I went to the front desk to ask for more towels and was told they did not have any. NOT ONE extra towel in the entire hotel. Walking the halls I overheard the cleaning staff complaining amongst each other about how there weren’t any towels or sheets sooooo who knows if we even slept on clean sheets 🤢 Finally on our last day, there was only one towel elevator working forcing guests to use the stairs with all their luggage. NEVER AGAIN! $900 for a 3 night horrific stay! Did I reach out to hotel management, yes! No response! I even tried reaching out to Hilton and no response! Lifelong Hilton customer extremely DISAPPOINTED

The hotel smelled, rooms weren’t very clean, we were only given 2 bath towels per room even when we called multiple times during our 3 night stay, the pool was freezing and had very strong chlorine smell, the hotel ran out of food at breakfast, no maid service, and no accessible ice machines in hotel.
