Forest Dunes Resort is located on the Golden Mile in Myrtle Beach. This oceanfront property features a quiet, smoke-free setting, perfect for families and couples alike. Amenities include the indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor lazy river ride, whirlpool, and kiddie pool.

Beyond water features, this Myrtle Beach property also features access to the Seaside Exercise Trail, laundry room, beach access, oceanfront cabana, and an on-site seasonal bar & grill. Accommodations options include both one and three bedrooms, both of which have a balcony, separate living room, and a full kitchen as well as free WiFi, linens, and towels.

Forest Dunes Resort does require guests to sign a rental agreement at the time of check-in. The reservation holder must be at least 25 years old to check-in.

Fees: A $250 credit card pre-authorization is required for a security deposit on your arrival day. The authorization will be released after check-out and will only be charged if there are damages, missing items, excessive cleaning requirements, unpaid balances, if check-out procedures are not followed or checking out later than 11 a.m.

Resort fee, booking fee, cleaning fee, and parking fee will be paid upon check-in.
Balance due must be paid by credit card upon check-in. The name on the credit card must match that of the reservation and valid ID.

An additional $10 per person, per night may be added for adults ages 17 or older; kids 16 or younger stay free within maximum occupancy.; state taxes; local taxes; and additional fees. Fines may be charged for anyone who smokes on the resort property. All fees are subject to change without warning.

Parking: A $10/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. You may register one vehicle for one bedrooms and up to two for three bedrooms. Due to parking restrictions, motorcycles, trailers, golf carts, and related equipment are NOT permitted on resort property.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. ADA-defined service animals are welcome.

Daily housekeeping is not available. Additionally, all rooms will be made up with fresh, clean linens and towels prior to every guest check-in. Exchange of towels, bed linens, and other amenities will be provided upon request only during your stay. Please trade dirty linens in to get clean linens if required. Trash will be emptied upon request.

What a dump room 1505!!!!! We arrive for the month. First off we were supposed to stay here for February and March but they screwed up our reservation that we made in February 2024. They booked us a 3 bedroom at the sea watch hotel told us it was an upgrade from here BS. Anyways back to the room, was not ready when we arrive had to wait 2 hours for room cleaning to be done not sure what they cleanned the floors we’re filthy sand everywhere furniture is stained my wife took the cushions coverings and washed them in the machine here because is was discusting. The hot water doesn’t work in one of the showers. Paint is pealing in both bathrooms water stains on closet doors. Furniture is dated and dirty had to cover the couches with blankets from the room which 2 had big stains on them had to wash them. The fridge has about 5 shelves on the door which 2 are broken put a bottle of ketchup on one it fell out of the fridge because it was cracked. This place has gone downhill so much. We have stayed here for more than 10 years I will never come back. The management company California dreaming don’t give a xxxx about the problems here they just Barry their heads in the sand and oh we’re sorry we will have to get with our supervisor and call you back and never hear back have to keep calling. The only thing nice about this room is the view. Will never come back to this place again. The reason they never tell you what room you have before you arrive is they don’t want you to read the reviews. Please check before you book this place or use VRBO the room here have picture and are renovated. Really really disappointed in this place March 2025.

Forest Dunes has a great reputation for being a nice place to enjoy the beach and Ocean air. I like the garage parking so my car isn't on the street and I don't have to look for a place to park. The Buckets Bar and Grill downstairs has delicious food. You don't have to leave the resort to enjoy your Myrtle Beach experience.

Nice condo on 5th floor. Bed was very comfortable. Walk-in shower. Never got connected to WI-FI. Beach access directly across the street with a sitting area. Would recommend visit during fall/winter to avoid crowds. Four deck parking with access to fourth floor.

Very nice unit. Clean and well furnished. very helpful staff and a beautiful location. I recommend Forest dunes and Vacation Myrtle beach to everyone. My stay was quite pleasant and it was good to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strand

The unit was advertised as a queen, but it had a tired worn out double bed. The patio door latch was missing, so the door could not be locked. The unit was very dirty upon checking in. Sand underneath a rug in the living room (which we just rolled up and stored outside during our stay). There was rust all over the outside of the fridge. I was double charged for parking (which was eventually resolved, after visiting the front desk). I was charged a credit card convenience fee twice, which I am still waiting to have resolved. I've asked to have my folio (bill) emailed to me; however, I am still waiting for it. I can receive all kinds of marketing information and communication with their QA Support Representative, but my bill cannot seem to be emailed to me. There is a $10 a day parking fee and $15 a day resort fee to consider, on top of your rental fee.
