Designed for families and golfers, The Caravelle Resort has an expansive pool deck, a game room, and more.

Located in a quiet hotel zone north of downtown's traffic, families are attracted to this hotel for the pools and beachfront locale. Golfers come year round. Guests have playing privileges at the private Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is less than three miles away. At least one adult of 21 years of age must be in the room at all times for all buildings except for Sea Mark Tower & Carolina Dunes (25).

Water attractions include a complex with a 65 by 30-foot pool; a children's Wild Water pool, lazy river, and a 15-person spa tub (Seasonal). A solarium offers year-round 45 by 12-foot pool paired with a four-person spa tub. Outside, another four-person spa tub provides open air soaking.

The Caravelle Resort offers 620 air-conditioned guestrooms, suites and two and three-bedroom condominiums. Most accommodations provide either a full kitchen or a kitchenette that includes a four-burner range, a microwave oven, a full-size refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffeemaker and comes with dishes, flatware, and cookware.

All fees will be collected upon check-in. The name on the credit card must match that of the reservation and valid ID. Your credit card will be pre-authorized $250 for incidentals.

To minimize contact for the safety of guests and staff, daily housekeeping will not be available.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. ADA-defined service animals are welcome.

Parking: A $10/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. Trailer parking is not available. Golf carts are not permitted. Limit 1 parking pass per unit. Overflow garage parking is for main building guests only.

Our room was in the St John's Inn which is part of the resort. At first glance it is a little outdated. The room looked like it had been partially remodeled. The air conditioner was the most quiet in any room that I have stayed. Our room overlooked the pool and had an excellent sized balcony, and a great view. We were surprised that the beds being so soft, actually slept very well. The linens and carpet were clean and the pillows were comfortable. Although the room still needed to be finished, having a good bed and clean room are very important to me, and I would stay again!

I drove six hours, to arrive at the registration desk to check in and be very disrespected by the employee she even disrespected me in front of the manager then put me in room in the main building 604 that the Motel 6 room look better than that and I had to complain just to get a nicer room mind you this is not my first time on the property but my fiance and he even complained I would never ever ever stay at this hotel again!

Clean quiet oceanfront rooms with all that you need for your beach vacation. Customer Service is amazing and top-notch! This resort is close to everything that you would need. Check out the seventh floor sundeck, and block long pool scape with a pool and hot tub and lazy river and kids area. There’s a gift shop and game room and laundry facilities. The only negatives I can say are the garage on the side of the resort is packed with no spots and very difficult to maneuver up and down especially when cars are coming the other way, so I found a great spot in the garage across the street and didn’t mind in October walking across the street each time. There were a few bugs in the room and a lot on the balcony. Most of the time the front desk would pick up except for a couple times and maintenance never picked up. When I called front desk once and asked about bug spray they said they would check on it, but never got back to me. As a funny sidenote, I’ve never stayed in North Myrtle Beach before so as I tried to sit on the beach on this trip an aggressive fly kept biting me on my legs and feet every time I would try to sit on the beach so I couldn’t relax on this trip as much as previous; this is no fault of the hotel but with the bug issue, maybe they could spray more. They do offer contactless check out. Enjoy!

Awesome place to take a family. Pools all over/right on the beach. The place is very nice-the people sooo friendly. Went there 10 years ago with my nephews. This time with our grandkids-and according to them it needs to be a yearly trip! St. Clemens will be our new annual vacation spot.

Nice place looks clean but floors are dirty and they did not give us hand soap or facial tissue for both bathrooms and coffee for one day when we had stayed a week. Also room phone didn't work. Had to go to front desk to get everything and even exchange lines and towels.
