"Great stay"

Great stay. The studio was wide and well furnished. Staff was amazing. A little bit noisy, but we’re in NY, right?! The hotel is in a easy to spot street, near 911 Memorial and Museum, which make it a safe place even at night. A lot of grocery stores nearby.

"We just checked in and our room smells so strongly of sulfur that my eyes are burning."

We just got to town and our whole room smells so strongly of sulfur that our eyes are burning. I asked the front desk for someone to look into it and I was told there was nothing to be done until tomorrow. I said the smell is so strongly that I didn’t feel safe sleeping on the room and I was told that the co2 sensor hadn’t gone off so we should be strong. I have stayed at this hotel for years but I am looking for somewhere else to stay and I most likely won’t be coming back.

"The female staff wearing a face mask was too stubborn. It happened on Nov 13, 2024"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed November 13, 2024 NEW
I was supposed to check out next day and I found out the room key expired one day earlier when I was about to return to the room. When I asked for adjusting the valid key time, a female staff with a face mask asked me to present a formal ID. But I didn’t have it with me at that time neither any photocopies in my phone. She quite insisted on the ID presenting until I became upset so she sought for her supervisor’s advice. I understand there’s a security concern, however flexibility should be given by asking me to spell my name for verification. I was wondering if they treat all the guests like that when same situation occurs or is it because I am an airline crew so they don’t need to treat me nicely. After she gave me the valid room key, she emphasized on all my colleague had been presenting the valid ID for room key except me. The point is my colleagues are all very nice people who are willing to cooperate even hotel staff didn’t set the key valid time correctly but I am not going to suffer from the inconvenience caused by hotel’s mistakes. I hope they can do their job properly at the very beginning so guests don’t need to cooperate with this kind of nonsense.

"This Hotel!!!"

From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional! From the greeting when you walked through the front door to the goodbye when you left. I loved the touch of the provided complementary refillable water bottles and station and the closet of complementary necessaries that you may have overlooked while you were packing. The location was absolutely amazing, right at the World Trade Memorial. If you can, I recommend booking room 1906. With wall to celling windows that encompass the room, it has an amazing view of the Memorial as well as Liberty Park. This is our first time staying at a Club Quarters Hotel and we will definitely be back!

"A quiet, clean and functional hotel in NYC"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed November 06, 2024 NEW
If you want a functional hotel that is quiet, no road noise, comfortable beds, free coffee and tea in the lobby, a fridge and a coffee machine in your room this is a great place to stay. It’s not the Ritz but you get what you pay for. I thought the fact that you had to get the room cleaned on demand was genius and environmentally sound. No one needs towels or sheets changed every day. I have been fighting for more hotels to do this. Think of the amount of water and energy saver. Filtered water and ice is a great idea, plastic water bottles not so great. Check in and out was quick. Lifts were quick. The staff were very accommodating. If you need anything just ask. We needed a charging point and they installed a usb point which was really handy. Great location.
