Great place to stay, pet friendly, staff are very friendly 😀, Clean rooms, ok breakfast - just same thing every morning. We stayed for a week and went to many shows hotel is 14 miles from any shows, but the stay at the hotel made up for the distance lol...

We really enjoyed staying here, this was our second time. It's really clean, comfy beds and pillows. We had everything we needed in our room and more! The staff is really friendly and makes you feel at home. Great breakfast and location is perfect to enjoy all the sites, shows, restaurants and shopping! Highly recommend!

The room was clean and much bigger then expected. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is very close to everything we wanted to do. Easy check in and out. If in the area again we will chose to stay there again. Bring your swimsuit there's an indoor pool!

PROS – 1. Young lady at front desk upon arrival was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She smiled at all customers. I recall she was helping one customer that was not the most cordial. She was very patient. When I walked up for some assistance she flashed that “1000 watt smile” and helped me out as well. 2. Breakfast was better than some. I had sausage, biscuits, and scrambled eggs for breakfast. They were all tasty. My wife also had the sausage gravy which although not the right consistency was flavorful. 3. Beds were better than average as they weren’t overly soft. 4. Indoor and outdoor pools. 5. Very clean reception and breakfast area. The breakfast area actually had salt and pepper shakers on every table. This was a pleasant accoutrement. 6. Our “King” Suite was good size and well-furnished. 7. Being on the second floor, I loved the balcony. This was a great touch on the hotel design. My Golden Retriever thought it was cool as well. 8. I love the mirror in La Quinta. I am going to buy similar mirrors for my baths at home. Bath was very clean. 9. Don Marco Mexican Restaurant provides some of the best Mexican food that I have ever eaten. This was more like eating in Mexico. CONS - 1. The absolute worst thing about this hotel was the dog walk area. Because of the slope of the grounds around the hotel, the dog walk area was small and around the pool. This location was acceptable as the hotel’s construction on the site was not the best. As with 5-star La Quintas, the area had a “poop” bag dispenser and dedicated trash receptacle. The dispenser was empty and the receptacle was full. Consequently, the area was full of dog “poop” and gave off the expected offensive odor. IT SURROUNDED THE POOL! Luckily, it was late fall and the pool was closed. The indoor pool appeared nice and welcoming. By the way, La Quinta used to provide free lodging for pets. After COVID, Wyndham Hotels found a reason to stick guests for $25. I may have been “ripped off” at this hotel. 2. The living area of the hotel was poorly maintained. Doors stuck horribly. At 5:00 A.M., I don’t like making loud noises that disturb other guests but you could not help. When you paint the doors make sure that they don’t stick. Also, if you can’t get new doors, finish them better. Paint job is terrible. Sand well and finish. Wall switches in rooms were painted as the surrounding wall and paint was chipping off the switch as expected. (NOTE: wall switches are cheap and if you can’t match the color don’t paint them.) Also, paint drips were all over the wall and on the trim. Being in a “right-to-work” state low quality help is cheap. The carpets were not as clean as they could be. 3. Although the guest service on checkout promised to e-mail a receipt, I never received one. Thus, I don’t know whether the hotel “ripped me off” on the pet fee. 4. The hotel is built on a horrible location. This being said, the design and construction could be better. The site could have been larger and flatter with a retaining wall built next to the highway. Larger flatter site would allow more landscaping, more parking and larger pet area. 5. Not much great high quality food in the area.

Didn’t have hot chocolate available, would be nice to wind down at end of day. Housekeeping picked up our towels but we needed to get new ones from front desk. Pleaee have regular butter available for breakfast.Otherwise was good experience.
