"Late night on the road stop"

We were driving from NY to TN to look at homes. Our car broke down earlier in the day in Maryland. After this 5 hour ordeal we had dinner in VA and had no idea we would not be able to get any hotel room in VA due to VA Tech college football game . Then we found out Bristol VA had nascar. We called and stopped all over. We were exhausted and wanted to sleep. At about 1:30 am we called the Fairfield INN in Kodak we got Sarah from the front desk on the phone. She had three rooms and agreed to hold one for us with just my name. We didn’t arrive until 3 am. She was sweet and we held a great conversation at that hour. We are bonvoy members and not sure if we were entitled or not but she gave us a little bag of water , popcorn and a cute mini moon pie. Our room was beautiful and clean. We only ever try to stay in marriot hotels! If we come back in this direction we will surely stay here. We also ate the free breakfast. Buccee’s is directly across so the gas is a huge plus!! The staff was great as always. The room was clean and well maintained. And the location and parting are great. The breakfast was mediocre. Had breakfast been a little better I would have bumped the stay up to excellent. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past 10 years and the price has almost tripled while the breakfast has declined a bit. Other name brand hotels in the area seem a little more competitive in prices but we have had good experiences here, so we haven't tried any place different.

Stopped here for a night so that I could check out Buc-ee's in the morning. Usually on my way to Gatlinburg, I hit a Fairfield along the way, in Tennessee. Check-in was easy and my request was acknowledged at check-in and granted. Pillows were fluffy and the room was clean. Breakfast was fresh, attendant kept hot foods replenished and counters clean.

Nice Property, Great Desk Clerk, SAFE area, and my room was Very Clean. Breakfast was good with Great Coffee. Bed was good, towels were a bit thin, not that fluffy. 8.5/10 for a highway stop hotel, would recommend. A HUGE Bucee’s is on the other side of the highway.

Disgusting, dirty, and old. Found a pubic hair on the toilet seat and coffee drippings in sink. Sent photos to management who did nothing. Continental breakfast was gross, too. Would not stay there.
