I recently stayed at the Wynn Resort for a business trip, paying $800 per night, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. As someone who appreciates luxury hotels and the service they typically provide, I was disappointed by several aspects of my stay. The check-in process, which was advertised as “express,” took nearly an hour due to delays at the kiosk. While enjoying the cabana pool and ordering premium beverages, even a simple request for water was met with visible annoyance from the staff. Additionally, when seeking assistance from the concierge to arrange massages, we were told we should have made the request earlier, and their demeanor suggested they were too busy to help. This experience was underwhelming for a resort of this caliber, and I do not plan to return. I felt compelled to share this as my first TripAdvisor review due to the level of disappointment.

Smoke! Cannot get to room elevators, or restaurants, or step into the elevators without being overwhelmed by cigar and cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. Its not near anything. By the time you tip the car park Valets, mays well just pay for parking. Service was average. Room was nice. View was awful, with T hotel the main site out of the window. Overpriced food, too crowded everywhere, except Casinos, they wete empty. Whole stay, 1 of the 3 elevators wasnt running. 15 min + wait times for smoke filled elevators. Would never consider staying here again.

It's a beautiful property, however, you have several incompetent telephone + casino floor employees who can't provide clear directions to your Encore Theatre. We were 30 minutes late to the Bryan Adams concert on Sat March 8th due to multiple misguides. It's my money wasted not theirs and they still collect their paychecks. If your staff don't know your property, retrain them or tell them to be honest and have a competent co worker inform instead. Poor experience and I would not recommend your property.

"A solid 5 - star hotel on the Strip"

A solid 5 star hotel on the Strip. Many said it's the best of the best. There are many good ones, and this is one of them. Location-wise, it's still not as centrally located as Bellagio or Caesar's but still a solid good choice. What sets Wynn apart is their service and attitude across the board from housekeeping to front desk. Foods are not cheap there, more expensive than the rest of the Strip, but if you are looking for ultimate luxury on the Strip, look no further. If the price is right, I will reconsider staying here. For the same price, you get more bang for the buck.

"Wonderful."

Our Wynn Panoramic King Suite on the 53rd floor was fabulous. Our suite was spacious and sparkling clean. Housekeeping refreshed our room perfectly each day. The bathroom was large with standalone shower and a nice deep soaking tub. There was plenty of counter space and quality bath towels. Thankfully the Wynn-Encore properties have not hopped on the “communal use” bath products wagon as I cannot be convinced that option is tamper-proof or at all hygienic. Our bed was dreamy with top notch crisp and fresh smelling linens. The overall condition of our suite was flawless. The decor is elegant and refined with lovely art and wall coverings throughout the suite. I’m not a fan of the lighting system as lights are all ON or all OFF. You can dim them slightly. We actually loosened a few of the bulbs just to tone it down. You control lighting, room temp, TV as well as the drapes from bedside keypad. Sufficient closet and drawer space for extended stays. Rock Star black-out drapes. Sadly there is no in-room coffee and zero fridge space as everything is auto-charged if you move it. Ice machines available on multiple floors. Every staff member we encountered from check-in to check-out were polite, welcoming and helpful. We were lucky this time as there was zero wait to check in; rare air! The views from the floor to ceiling wall to wall windows were EPIC day and night. Don’t fret too much if you don’t score a Strip view as the vistas of the city and surrounding mountains are stunning as well; especially if you are a frequent visitor and have already seen it all. We chose to self-park which is very convenient and free of charge; make sure you get the ticket validated at the front desk. Drove directly to the top (open-air) floor of garage and found plenty of parking. Valet is $40 per day and of course there is the dreaded $55 per night (+ tax) “resort fee”. There is a plethora of high-end shopping and dining options throughout both Wynn and Encore properties. Also do not miss the marvelous, quirky and imaginative nightly “show” on the Lake of Dreams each night on the half hour. It’s one of the coolest things in Vegas (IMHO). Sadly they have reconfigured what use to be a comfortable casual viewing space which made it more difficult to get a spot to chill and sip a cocktail this time around… SMH.  The pool complex is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of towels, loungers and shade. They offer a “European – over 21” pool but honestly, the regular pool was way more serine and peaceful during this stay. Expect to pay serious bank for drinks and food served poolside. We recommend SW Steakhouse for overall fine dining and ambiance (spendy and reservations are a MUST). We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Terrace Point Cafe for a rather decent price. We also wandered over to the Venetian for a late lunch at the Grand Lux Cafe which was excellent, reasonably priced and a great place to peep watch. There’s a Capital Grill and Maggiano’s directly across the street and attached to the huge Fashion Show Mall. CVS and Walgreen’s near as well. We travel to Vegas often and have stayed in most if not all of the 4 and 5 star properties along the Strip throughout the years. You simply cannot beat Wynn-Encore for an elegant, upscale and luxurious stay. Each time we return we ask ourselves why we ever even consider staying anywhere else. I think we may prefer Encore over Wynn simply for the separately defined living and sleeping spaces and I think the Encore rooms may offer a bit more square footage. Location could be an issue for first time visitors as these properties are at the very far north end of the Strip. Our UBER down to what we consider center Strip (Aria, Bellagio, Cosmo, Paris, Caesars, etc.) was approximately $20. Easy access to Venetian-Palazzo (7 min walk over pedestrian bridge – where you also get a FAB view of the Sphere). The entire Wynn-Encore properties are exceptional in every aspect. We have NEVER been disappointed and we highly recommend. Viva Vegas!
