"Don’t waste your time with Halloween Haunts."

Daytime was fine but Halloween Haunts was a waste. Lines so long you couldn’t see most of the attractions. Very few scary characters around. Way too many little kids and the food in the evening was horrible. If you buy the fast pass for the daytime, you have to buy a separate one for the nighttime. Dumb. Will not come back for this event.

I have spent hundreds no let me make that thousands of dollars at Worlds of Fun. I have been fighting cancer. My husband is a severe diabetic. I have watched through the days of October depending on which security guard etc. One will let one big backpack in, The next will say take a little bag out. Depending which line you're in. We was told last night on a Friday if you're bringing bags and you have to be here before 6:00. Showed up at 5:30 with my cancer hat on and my cancer bag that holds my worlds of fun souvenir cups to get my drinks my phone and my glasses. Was told walk it back to the car. Explained there is health conditions I am very tired and that is hard on me. They said that is not allowed in here Are you going to come back in the park. We said no just trying to take my glasses and my shoulder bag show them what was in my bag. Very empty bag except for Worlds of Fun stuff that's been bought here. Walked everything way back to the car. Get back and they let about six women with bags in front of us in. My husband ask why that was They grabbed security. So my husband did raise his voice was not threatening was not cussing. They promptly ask us to leave the park for questioning what is going on. They also said that we never said we have medical problems which we clearly did. Not to mention I have stuff from the hospital on my clothes. So we was asked to leave the park while other people a mother with a baby was not allowed to bring the baby stuff in. A 5-year-old kid that had a Halloween costume on was asked to go to the car and take it off. It's the Halloween haunt ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ This place has went straight to crap ‼️

I brought my son to the park today after probably around 15 years away (native Kansas, current Texan.) Some highs - I definitely tried to manage my expectations because many reviews mentioned broken down rides and few food options. We were pleasantly surprised that most rides were open throughout the day. Food was never too hard to find, but choices were a bit scarce at times. It’s your typical theme park fare. We barely waited in line today and left right around when Haunt was beginning. We were both just too tired and had done all we wanted at that point. Lows - the photos were a bummer. I had an employee tell me I could get the pics scanned to temporary card and then buy the pics when we went to leave. Well, when we went to leave there were no agents at the pic booth near the entrance, with a sign saying they’d be back in about 90 minutes. We decided to cut our losses, but buying photos should be moved to an online, buy anytime system if they can’t staff the photo booths. Wait times were generally inaccurate in the app, but I don’t know that we waited more than 10-20 minutes the whole day, so that wasn’t a huge deal. We had a pretty pleasant day on the whole.

Such a great day at Worlds of Fun. After reading reviews on here, everything exceeded my expectations. The park was well-run, well-staffed, clean, and friendly. There were workers cleaning trash off the walkways. I do not think we saw a single ride down (other than a few minutes with the Fury of the Nile - then it opened again). A refreshing change since days of my childhood - the midway vendors/Guess your Weight workers were completely friendly and non-annoying. They were available without begging and trapping you to stop. Our meal was $70, but we enjoyed sides and three double cheeseburgers at the Coasters restaurant - and it was really good! The fruit plate ($7) and the fries ($7) were an entire plate full. The kids loved the seasoning on the fries. Weird for me to compliment the food at Worlds of Fun, but the burgers were tasty, large (double patty - $13.50), and had a deliciously crisp-edged bun. We shared a tasty milkshake for $8 with plenty of whipped cream. We hit the Snoopy area, and kid-friendly rides in every world but Asia. Attaching some pictures of the Halloween decor (set up for the nights) -- it looked really professional and cool. I cannot think of anything to complain about at our day at Worlds of Fun.

We bought the all day meal plan. This was wasted money. Well over half the food options we closed. And when we dud find one open, rhe staff would just throw your plate to you. Took 5 minutes for them to put gloves on. They acted as though they were headed to the chopping block. 30 dollars to park. Do not believe I will go back. Everything was very expensive.
