Windsor Hills Resort by Global Vacation Homes in Kissimmee, FL

Whilst the title is Windsor Hills, please don’t be mislead. Other than the resort ‘pool bar and restaurant’ being closed during our stay, we cannot fault the actual complex, pool area and kids water park first class, the surrounding area cleanliness and upkeep is first class I couldn’t recommend this enough. Rating would be 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ However specificly we stayed in 2563 Maneshaw Lane, Kissimmee, FL, USA, listed below are things that come to mind in relation to the villa…. 1) Extremely dated 2) Unclean 3) Questionable electrics On arrival we were met with decor / furniture from the early 90’s, it was unclean / dirty and just not maintained or updated in some time. During our stay the washing machine broke down twice, we were advised by our host to lift the door or “YouTube” how to work a US washing machine, however unfortunately YouTube didn’t have any specific videos for washing machines manufactured in the 1980’s. Pool heating;- the host took a payment off us early after arrival the pool heating, this was deemed extra, the pool heating was fixed in working order two days before we left. Air conditioning - it must have been on a timer, every day it wouldn’t go lower than 84oC at nite no lower than 70oC. Host was rude via emails to my wife, then had the audacity to ask for a review. (Here it is our review… could do better!!!). If you want value for money do not rent or stay in 2563 Maneshaw Lane, Kissimmee, FL, USA.

We stayed at 204 on Almaton Loop and had a fabulous 2 weeks. The apartment was 3 spacious bedrooms, lounge, a kitchen, and a small balcony with 2 bathrooms. Perfect for the 4 of us but capable of sleeping 8. The whole apartment was thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean. No bugs seen at all. TV in rooms and large one in lounge had Disney+ but I used my own firestick mostly (Iplayer for the Olympics quite a bit). Pool was great and kids were using the slides and splash zone as well. I agree that the water was a little warm on a couple of days .. but in 34 degrees C it's bound to be .. and definitely better than not having it. We used the Arcade which is quite new looking and all machines operate on a load able card rather than coins worked out quite expensive with Grandaughter tapping the grab machine every time we passed it!. The onside Market takeaway does great Pizza and Burgers. Resort is best experienced with a car and then Disney Parks and Universal are all in easy driving reach. As mentioned elsewhere .. Walmart is really close so easy to stock up on essentials .. including lots of bottled water as Florida tapwater tastes and smells of swamp. Loads of places to eat close by ..we loved the Black Angus Steak House, IHOP and a little further up the 192 Lazy Dog is great and have their own craft beers .. back the other way Golden Corral is cheap but does a great Brunch buffet. Don't forget amongst all the theme park excitement.. the world's biggest McDonalds up towards Universal. The only thing I would have liked is some bottled water in the fridge on arrival.

My wife and I were racially profiled at the gate. The security was extremely rude. It being our first time we did not have understanding to what was going on. The security guard literally harassed us at the gate. And went and lied to the manager and said we threatened him. When I called to try and report it the manager Erica would not even take the call nor did she give directive on how we can report what had occurred. We had to write BBB..And write letters to corporate..If you are African American I do not recommend this place. We were treated like trash at the gate for no reason just for pulling up and then lied on. We just wanted someone to look at the tapes so they can see how we were treated at the gate ..Never again

We stayed in a 2bdrm condo for a recent Disney trip. We have stayed at Windsor Hills 3x before and always enjoyed it. This time was no different. The condo was great, clean & quiet. The grounds are nicely cared for. Windsor Hills always feels safe & secure to me. The only issue was that the pool water was very warm-too warm to enjoy (86 degrees +) and pool very crowded. I haven't been at Windsor Hills since the splash pad/new slide addition but no kids were using it & instead the pool was *full* mid-afternoon.

We stayed in a two-bdrm condo that we rented through a vacation rentals site. Our condo had been renovated with stone countertops & stainless appliances. It was well-stocked & very clean. My one complaint is the pool. We were at Disney during days on the high 80s. The pool water was 86 degrees-not refreshing at all. Since the water slide closed, now all the kids are in the main pool and it was very congested! This was my first stay at WH since 2017 & the pool was noticeably different. The resort needs to investigate a change. The splash pad was a nice idea but the kids aren't using it nor the big slide.
